Hello people, finally getting around to actually listing some of the binned stuff I've had sitting around for over a year without touching. I have better chips, so I should probably sell the spares. Prices are negotiable and not including postage. For postage, most things are probably <£5 for UK and <£10 for EU at most via Royal Mail (if you want a different carrier we can discuss). For payment I accept Paypal. PSC binning details at the bottom of this post. Disclaimer: Your OC results will vary, items are located in the UK & prices are in GBP. PSC Binning Tested on ambient (without heatspreaders) with ambient CPU. Tested at 4/40 IOL/RTL (instead of 4/41). Timings as shown (almost as tight as possible). The Ripjaws had RP weakness, so dropping to 9 might drop 32M stable voltage. The Ripjaws also required RCD13 for 2666MHz 32M. The Trident 2000C9 have KO-8117 PCB. The 1600C7 Ripjaws have ST PCB. Voltage is as shown in HWInfo and checked with multimeter (both OCF and Impact overvolt above BIOS). Stick 4: Stick 2: Stick 7: Stick 10:

Will check when I rebench, I guess similar issue as 290X and unlocked 290 for DDR3 - Stage 7; need a photo of the GPU as well.

But only at above 2800C6? Would be very weird. Maybe it was a bclock issue?

The post code '15' issue I had was with tight and loose subs though. I might have a try on the OCF and see if it's the same behavior. But I think one of the sticks isn't as good as the other and/or doesn't like the lower temps as much.

Yeah, I tried a header but it died eventually. USB card works, but I wanted to see if the Impact was excetionally better. Tbh, they both did 2800C6 around 2.3V real. Sub with LN2 PSC: https://hwbot.org/submission/3955332_ Cold CPU didn't allow me to magically boot any higher, think there is a setting wrong somewhere as I tried all loose except Cas and it still got stuck trying to train; on code '15'? Never had that on ambient. Tried to do high freq 32M with 2666C6, but it failed straight away. More time needed on that (finding good IMC volts at high VCCIN) might focus on maxing out CPU first though.

Yo, yo. It's that time of year again. Lol. Cold PSC ftw. I'm on the Impact VII this time to see how it compares to OCF last year (and because it has working USB ports). I managed 2800 6-10-6-22 1T, with all sub-timings tight (including WRRD 13 and REFI 65535) except RFC which was at 72. This passed 32M wazza at 2.24V. 35/36/4/4 would boot and run, but 32M exited halfway through each time. And anything over 2800 would fail to train and give me 55/FE codes until I warmed the ram up (either lots or just a bit). Even loosening everything excet CAS it still wouldn't train. The one time it did train was only single channel. I still have ~10L (I think) so was going to try cold CPU as well? I'm assuming that the IMC is holding me back at this point? Edit: I was running 4GHz on G3258 and got a 7m 18.1s run.

Checked voltages? The dead board I bought would turn on, try to set the VID voltage and immediately reboot. Never figured it out in the end. My other dead board just powers on and then stays there; never progressing or rebooting.

Not exactly the same, but on Z170 LN2 it takes a few attempts to train 12-11-11. It also struggles with deciding if it wants to train 49/50 or 48/49 on auto. XD

How abour OCing those AMD low end laptop CPUs that are unlocked (E2-3000M).Volt modding laptop motherboards anyone? /s
