  1. Thanks Guys, will try to do some proper run with a new board on the weekend
  2. Inspiring and detailed work, well done RagingCain Driver testing was usually forgotten, but indeed there's some interesting driver release lately, like the AMD Catalyst 15.7(not the 15.7.1) which during my test gives more performance to the discrete graphics, but lowers the game FPS on the APU . I suppose I'll test drivers more often
  3. I am resisting the urge of selling my old 780 Ti to get this RAM x_x
  4. Agree, If hwbot staff can list out which benchmarks that are still valid to be run under the windows 10, that might help some users
  5. Same Birthday, Epic! HBD Guys, best wishes
  6. Not yet I guess , but the difference of i5 and i7 on the single core isn't as bad as the multi core I presume
  7. Hi all, I noticed that all the 3D Stage in this competition is limited to GTX 960 GPU, and a couple months ago my team tested the MSI GTX 960 GAMING 2G with some hardmods + extreme cooling, which can be found here: http://www.jagatoc.com/2015/05/extreme-overclocking-msi-gtx-960-gaming-2g-1-8ghz-gpu-clock/ *it's in Indonesian, but you can use Google translate just fine In our short ln2 test the GPU managed to do 1840-1900ish, we'll probably see something around 2 Ghz+ in this competition Hopefully that will help some of you guys who want to compete in that category Cheers, Alva
  8. Thanks man , CPU should manage another 100-120 Mhz though, will try harder on the next bench session
  9. From my short test, it should be close to 4200 broadwell = 4400 Haswell I made some comparison here if you want to read it (edit: need Google translate though)
  10. Whoa, hopefully this doesn't affect Futuremark product development..
  11. Damn I was too late! If any is still available, PM me for details man
  12. Hahah yeah, it's powerful! I bet once the Pros start putting external VRM on these GPUS we'll start to see 2Ghz++ Titan X completely wrecking the ranking boards
  13. It's a pity to see you retire Petri You're one of those legends that I admire long time ago for what you can achieve with your hardware, especially with your liquid helium AMD runs back in the day. I wish you the best for whatever next projects you are doing in the future, and keep pushing it!
  14. Yeah I'll be there doing some coverage for my website An event list would be very nice so I will know how many days I need to extend (and asking permission from my office to extend :p)
  15. Just as Albrecht said, Overclocking is a hobby, and competition are supposed to make things more enjoyable in this hobby of ours. And since the competitiveness of overclocking grows by the day, somebody will eventually find a way to get ahead of others, and this is NOT a crime. - Somebody found a legit tweak and won't share it? Let them be, it's their RIGHT to do so after spending some many hours searching for that particular tweak. Of course, If you find something that you wanted to share, it's always welcome - Somebody got a support/sponsor/sample/hardware-for-friends-only? Let them be. Maybe that somebody tried hard to get notified by their current sponsors, and spends most of their time testing/debugging stuff, and if that is rewarded, it is well-deserved, no? - Somebody binned a lot hardwares? Let them be. Binning requires an effort too, whether it's the money spend on binning, or searching for 'sponsors' to get them ahead of this sillicon lottery. After all, isn't overclocking all about doing whatever we can to make a piece of PC component go faster than it supposed to do? Why would we let anyone's action stopped us from having fun with our hobby? If by some reason, competing make this hobby less enjoyable, then don't compete, just overclock for whatever reasons that make you happy and enjoy it
