The official GALAX GOC 2017 Worldwide Qualifier thread
websmile replied to Rauf's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I try to clear this but have no response so far - should come monday latest I guess Edit: It is as stated in the rules, all Galax retail mems are allowed but 1080 ti oc lab edition is mandatory -
I sent the guy a pm two days ago to ask for response to this thread, the accusations and for tracking to be provided and proof of shipping. No response, so at first step (he hasn´t been logged in for over two weeks) I removed his marketplace access. I will wait how things develop here and if I do not get a reply or see a solution here I will ban him. Sad that a 10 year member is behaving this way, and at ocn his feedback is acceptable, but people change sometimes

The rules are correct - it is nehalem i7 or gulftown i7, which rules out xeons http://hwbot.org/hardware/processors#key=core_i7_(nehalem)
-
I made a precheck on sc1 and some sc2 stages - since one year now cinebench has to show the complete rendered image, we will not accept hidden pics due to possible file cheats. And 80% of all time spy subs have no link despite from benchmark start it was clear you need a valid fm link.
-
He did not provide tracking at all? Seems this is nothing we can approve at all here.
-
You usually get a mail notification when a sub is reported or blocked - the button itself is more or less not important

I had a clear opinion on this, at 1st of july I was not able to buy any x299 CPU in germany. Sadly this was not taken in at the decision and we now pay the price for this. On the delidding - you killed an i7 iirc with razor, now you want to take the risk of killing a 1k cpu? Maybe others do not want to play hazard^^
-
No idea about world tour - on the x299, I was strictly against allowing it anyway 1. After Intel´s paper launch we still have regions where cpus are not available, and what is even worse, a lot of boards are not available. Some guys in the staff are still believing in vendors and promises, and that a launch is a launch. Maybe next time they will be more realistic. Fact is Intel and vendors bunnyed a lot of stuff up by making paper launch, sending out dozens of samples but you cannot buy the models they send out as samples even in big markets like europe. 2. X299 cpus without delidding are useless if you want to max them out. Delid tools are not widely available which provides another problem. 3. I have big doubts that someone buys an expensive new gen platform for team cup only, so don´t tell me you spend 2k or whatever to throw the hardware away after the cup is over... P.S. You can easily believe all of us would prefer it to be different, but we have to react when we see something goes utterly wrong
-
Update After we checked all results and rediscussed the availability on hardware at competetion start, we decided to rule out x299 for the team cup. We are all aware of the fact that this was mainly a paper lauch, even today availability at some regions is bad, so we play it safe. X299 results will not count to the team cup, we have only one now btw that would be legit. Sorry for the inconvenience
-
I am aware of the amount of hardware which is why I did not interfere on the picture - everyone who ever dealt with you knows you are OK. Do a pro forma picture of the two REX with Nick and date as symbolic gesture and that´s ok for me P.S. Good luck on your health, I hope it will improve

We never allow server hardware for rtp and it is always 1 gpu core unless explicitly allowed - I will add it to the rules nontheless
-
Ad hoc means it is not planned and usually a one time issue- no one plans to mess up a screenshot of a legit result so that he is tempted to add missing info. Apprentice is still missing because we forgot to add it there as well, it is youngest league

RTP Div II R3 GPUPI 1B submission problem
websmile replied to Casanova's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Created a ticket, I guess it is a configuration problem -
RedundancyMaster`s Catzilla - 1440p score: 22881 marks with a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Will check with massman but the benchmark itself seems to work
-
All files I got are simply too big, screening hwbotprime at 2560x1440 makes screenshot and file too big. I received a file by Nexus and forwarded it to Massman, all I can do now is tell to lower resolution for save file. People screen low res benchmarks at high resolution and this causes fail, so please use not more than 1080p for benching, lower res is even more safe

I am very enthusiastic to see this much love for hwbotprime here <3- I will recommend to reject the offer to fix some bugs on the benchmark -
RATZZ - DDR4 SDRAM @ 4000MHz - 4000 MHz Memory Frequency

Please enter the score cpuz shows you in the validation - which is 2000. If I have to edit a score by you for another time I will start to get annoyed, and we both will not like this -
