Vid on Haswell-E imho is useless, same 4.5 GHz @ voltage on air. all depends from CB and cpu itself regarding scaling   My golden USA cpu has vid 0.992v, does 4.5 ghz @ 1.275v and 5.8 GHz 4-Way Gen

hm, not bad batchs.

My hand will have only one chance in shop :). God, please, the option must be lucky :D.

I've picked mine up today, although I need to wait for the motherboard to get in stock which should be either tomorrow or early next week. Can someone explain the S-spec bit though. The rest of you have "QFRA" and mines SR20Q, so hopefully it serves me half decently.

Actually I'm not even very disappointed in my retail after hearing some bad stories. It's still not very good tho.

Hi rsnubje, do you mind me asking what board you are using and any guides for how you've achieved this. This might be teh wrong place to ask these questions but it's my first time with an X processor and just trying to learn as much as possible before my board gets here.

Cheers

For the result of the Retail chip I used the Asus X99E-WS and for the other 2 I used the Asus X99-Deluxe.

Basicly I used the same steps as with normal Haswell.

Thanks for that mate. I'm getting the gigabyte X99-SOC Force board, so hopefully that turns out ok when bios's mature a bit. Also i've just started to experiment with DICE and loving it, so hopefully I'll get some good results once I learn a bit more.

Just picked up today.
