Massman says:

Fixed some underlying code - now it will not invite to join anymore.

How's that Fury X going, by the way :D

I snatched 2 of them. They are great regardless of some driver issues ;) Once AMD get everything together, they will be screaming ;)

  • 1 month later...

I am coming late to the party and was able to track down an AMD AM2 chip but the best I could find in the video card was a single 6800. Any objections to letting this pass given that it is a single card? I dont expect that I will even be any competition to the current placers!

Alright located the 6600 getting it tomorrow. Only got the one but what can ya do. For stage 2, I assume I use the same setup and test the memory? The CPU setup I'm rocking for this comp is AMD so I think the mobo is rocking some nvidia chip set. Not 100% sure as I haven't put all the stuff together just yet.

Thanks! Look forward to competing in this contest!

Also what's the suggested windows version? XP?

Maxmem is limited to the use of via 133 chipset - please check the rules and keep this in mind :) XP should be OK, but win7 was used as well

@all I made last precheck today, please include mainboard tab, especially for maxmem, because it is chipset bound as stated - no mainboard tab means I cannot verify this, so I had to remove results today :/
