July 13, 20159 yr Not really valid under current rules, PM me on FB to send you the validation tool Btw, since you bothered to manually start, run it with no GUI for couple extra points.
July 14, 20159 yr Just so I know in case I ever run a system like this, why isn't this a valid run? Â inb4 people report it, W8 + fsb oc. I know it's AMD, but they weren't all silly RTC bug free.
July 14, 20159 yr Actually this is not windows soft oc, this OC is done through BIOS. For each setting change the system needs full shutdown, hence no RTC bug. Check OCNG5 project which I also co-founded and is now free for everyone.
July 14, 20159 yr Niko, can you shed a bit more light on the OCNG5 project? Like why it was started, who's involved, what's the purpose etc
July 14, 20159 yr Sorry, typo: co-funded not co-founded (stupid autocorrect). I take no credit for it, apart for doing some testing and sending over some money for R&D. Google "ocng5 opteron"
July 14, 20159 yr Also, you cannot soft OC Socket G34 CPUS from Windows. You get instant hard freeze.
July 14, 20159 yr This is how BIOS configuring looks like. Much easier than with previous versions Needs a hard shutdown after every change in order to boot new settings. Settings are permanent until hard CLEAR CMOS. Â
July 14, 20159 yr This is so awesome. Probably as awesome as the unlock mobile stuff. Â *starts writing*
