sabishiihito
Sorry to hjiack, but if any of the parties also have BIOS for the Z270 LN2 version as well, it'd be much appreciated

zeropluszero
I'll check what I have at home, I did have the z170 board, and never had the z270 board. Where did you get the board from? cant get the bios from whoever you got the board from? Technically Cookie or maybe Sofos would be the best guys to get this from FYI, And Dino is no longer at Gigabyte. 1

Noxinite
I have the x14c and x14d bioses IIRC, don't know if they work for non-k OC though. Kabylake definitely works. It would be awesome if someone modded it for Coffee though. Edited December 19, 2018 by Noxinite

Noxinite
Early Christmas present. Seems X14c is what one of the bioses on the board is flashed with, so I don't actually have it. .14d
sabishiihito
Retail BIOS for the Z270 SOC 4-DIMM board works on the LN2 but I suspect since it isn’t tuned for 2-DIMM that it is holding the RAM OC back.

suzuki
Unfortunatelly no,i guess it is possible but implies a mod aswell. But the board works 105 bclk on non skylake bios, after which it freezes. I need to test with Xtu to see if it stll keeps this bclk. 1

Took me a couple weeks to figure out the boards "quirks" but once you do it OC's mems on par or better than Apex IX yet it's only z170 chipset RTL's at 48/49 can do some damage if you can run 4080+ c12 that tight
suzuki
i didn't figure it out, will try later when i get home. Bottom line is xmp doesn't do jack on several ram modules,it's like it sets only freq but forgets about voltages and timings etc(on x16 and x20b bioses). I cannot figure out how to set timings for both modules in the same time, not to go to each slot and put all the timings again. When there is something which the board doesn;t like ,even the clr cmos has a hard time to get you back in bios. How is it possible they don;t have even a profile for bdie or spi32m or whatever, like the other producers ? Like they remained in skt 775 era with the bios options

Like they remained in skt 775 era with the bios options There's a reason these were never meant to be given to the public Step 1 use the x14b bios and this album for referencehttps://imgur.com/a/bJ8x1 But set Dram training, eventual and vtt manually Do not touch any of these loadline, current protection etc. Leave auto Memory timing mode to manual in 2 spots, or "Advanced Manual" in both for controlling all timings noy just RTL/IOL
