Chaton22
Hi, I received mine earlier this week. Have you tried the 1.40 bios?
sieger
Yeah 1.40 is amazing for cml it looks like. A lot better training. Dont know what changed for rkl. Also is there any bios with more settings unlocked? This bios is joke. At least there should be "Display Hidden OC Item" toggle. I m sure you all know what it did before. I have contacted Asrock support and their answer was: `Regarding your question, the BIOS options you can see are all the existed options, there are no options that are hidden.` I mean when I look at the bios settings, it is not, there are TONS of stuff hidden, also there is the layout for display hidden oc item, just its name isnt written, so for the devs, it is not even a hard thing to do. And I never understand why these support are never helpful. I mean why do you even lie? This board is not 70 bucks entry level works as intended board. Hopefully someone with knowledge will read and understand. Edited August 2, 2021 by sieger

Crew Leeghoofd Posted August 2, 2021 Author Crew Share Posted August 2, 2021 Quickly tested the CML and Bios 1.40, seems far better than before I included a few profiles with my 10900K to get you started 4000C16start.BIN 4600C16START.BIN 4600tight.BIN

Crew Leeghoofd Posted August 3, 2021 Author Crew Share Posted August 3, 2021 My 2 cents, more is not always better in my book. 99% of most users never touch AUTO settings... Plz give a list of which features you would like to have... and stating why would also be interesting...
sieger
@Leeghoofd Agreed this bios is a lot better than the other 1.2X ones for cml. I couldnt manage to get tighter yet, and training cr1 is still hard. It is already good as it is, hopefully there will be some improvements.
Splave
I don't understand what's missing. The ability to use a program to hack the bios to show hidden engineering settings doesn't work? What settings are you looking for so that maybe we can help you out.
sieger
@Splave It is now ok. Just I wanna ask something else, you see the ram oc ive made in the previous post, now it is 4100 freq, same timings and tRFC 350. The problem is, iol values are 7-7 7-8 or 8-8. And gives better performance when 7-7 of course. But when I want to manually enter the values(nothing different, just the ones it sets automatically) it doesnt boot. And there arent much to change, rtls, iols, and offset. I just want to lock it to 7-7 which it sometimes already sets it automatically. Do you guys know what can cause this, or how can i solve it. Splave
try locking in the RTL and IOL at the same time if you havent already

I dont even try any other value only its own auto value. Weird, tonight ill try jedec values to see if it changes anything.

Administrators websmile Posted August 11, 2021 Administrators Share Posted August 11, 2021 imc-volts/vdimm or trfc might also be a problem. Real voltages seem to be higher on apex than on asrock, but limits on mem oc do not differ that much. Fast test on an unknown kit from rma works easily 3

Even though I'm not a step up in the big leagues. It's a shame that this card and the bios work depending on the processor.I installed a 11600K just now and I have plenty of things I didn't have. I can't benchmark it. It's a shame for a high end card.
Broken APEX49
I'm also using 11600KF I haven't overclocked it yet, but does it have any less features than other CPUs?
l0ud_sil3nc3
Tried out latest 1.27H bios, seems same same to 1.27D which it replaced. The only weird thing I noticed on both bios is that certain dividers are missing or disappear for some reason, namely 3866 and 4133. Neon Knights
3866 Devider only appears when Gear 1 is choosen. On official Bioses 1.2 & 1.4 i mean that there is no 3866 devider , even when you have choosen Gear 1, but i have to check this by booting from BIOS A (my place for official Bioses ) Gear 1 choosen Gear 2 choosen Edited August 22, 2021 by Neon Knights
