ASRock Z590 OC Formula Thread:

Recommended Posts

Yeah 1.40 is amazing for cml it looks like. A lot better training. Dont know what changed for rkl.

Also is there any bios with more settings unlocked? This bios is joke. At least there should be "Display Hidden OC Item" toggle. I m sure you all know what it did before.

I have contacted Asrock support and their answer was: `Regarding your question, the BIOS options you can see are all the existed options, there are no options that are hidden.`

I mean when I look at the bios settings, it is not, there are TONS of stuff hidden, also there is the layout for display hidden oc item, just its name isnt written, so for the devs, it is not even a hard thing to do. And I never understand why these support are never helpful. I mean why do you even lie? This board is not 70 bucks entry level works as intended board.

Hopefully someone with knowledge will read and understand.

@Splave It is now ok.

Just I wanna ask something else, you see the ram oc ive made in the previous post, now it is 4100 freq, same timings and tRFC 350.

The problem is, iol values are 7-7 7-8 or 8-8. And gives better performance when 7-7 of course. But when I want to manually enter the values(nothing different, just the ones it sets automatically) it doesnt boot. And there arent much to change, rtls, iols, and offset. I just want to lock it to 7-7 which it sometimes already sets it automatically.

Do you guys know what can cause this, or how can i solve it.

try locking in the RTL and IOL at the same time if you havent already

ye tried that, tried one by one, then all of them at  the same time, then part by part. I dont even try any other value only its own auto value. Weird, tonight ill try jedec values to see if it changes anything.

More to follow, I still have some screens on HDD. 5333c15 posts but fails win enter, seems more of imc than memory issue

Hello, I also just received the motherboard but where the 5066 strap goes without a problem with the APEX, impossible with the OC Formula. During Geekbench 3.4.2, the benchmark crashes every time when dijsktra. Any ideas? A particular trick? Thanks a lot.

Hi
Is the bios different depending on the processor?
I don't have NickShih oc profile
I don't have memory preset
my processor 10850K
bios 1.4
and 1.27A

Help please
thanks

Maybe.. looks like memory preset optimized only for Rocket Lake

I found a setting in mem section where you can enable cometlake oc - maybe this can help, I can´t test though

J'ai trouvé un paramètre dans la section mem où vous pouvez activer cometlake oc - peut-être que cela peut aider, je ne peux pas tester cependant

It is curious. Even though I'm not a step up in the big leagues. It's a shame that this card and the bios work depending on the processor.I installed a 11600K just now and I have plenty of things I didn't have. I can't benchmark it.
It's a shame for a high end card.

Tried out latest 1.27H bios, seems same same to 1.27D which it replaced. The only weird thing I noticed on both bios is that certain dividers are missing or disappear for some reason, namely 3866 and 4133.

Yup it's at the bottom, saw that but no CML to try with here atm.

3866 Devider only appears when Gear 1  is choosen. On official Bioses 1.2 & 1.4 i mean that there is no 3866 devider , even when you have choosen Gear 1, but i have to check this by booting from BIOS A (my place for official Bioses )
