Aug26 2022: List updates will not be done very frequently from now on. I started this topic early and with some effort, because I feared that Intel will quickly try to stop nonK bioses from being published and I wanted to conserve the information and software in a dense, complete and accessible way. It seems like Intel is not taking any serious steps to stop nonK support and thus, I think this topic is not as relevant as I thought it might be. However, if you have any relevant, clean information about nonK boards or bioses (relatively complete lists of bioses for the 2-dimm OC boards for example), feel free to post it here.

*** bclk OC with bios "1.10" on MSI MAG B660M MORTAR MAX WIFI DDR4 (source: https://hwbot.org/submission/5100637_vumanhquan047_cinebench___r23_multi_core_with_benchmate_core_i5_12400f_15782_cb). vumanhquan047 is registered as from Vietnam. Boards sold outside of asian countries have the same model number (MS-7D97) but seem to not be able to do bclk OC. I will update the information, if I get more information.

are u sure, Strix Z690-I working? I think, he said this board not working...The same for TUF.

I had the strix itx board in the "with no support" category. I now changed it to "WITHOUT support" to make it more clear.

And does anyone know if it's okay when I attach the bios files to the first comment? I don't want to cause any issues with the server or get into legal trouble.

Hello... I had an account in this forum and I don't remember the password and email :(, so I created another one to be able to chat here about OC-No-K xD..

I have since the launch day an Asus z690 Hero... in which the OC-No-K works well:

It is fun ? ..

I also have an Aorus z690 Master, and the OC-No-K does not work, when I put the 12100f, the BCLK frequency option disappears in the bios

Hello..

One question, In my asus z690 Hero, when using this OC by BCLK, every time I restart the computer, it turns off, and turns on again... does it happen to you? ..

And when I turn it off, when I turn it on again, the code 28 stays in the debug led, I have to turn it off and then it turns on normally.

It is very annoying... if the Hero will always be like this with this type of overclock, I will change to another board that does not have this problem

Greetings

Just wanted to contribute to say that the Asus Strix Z690-G board (the mATX DDR5 one) does not appear to support this BCLK overclocking. With the current latest 0811 BIOS (the same that it appears to work with on the other higher end boards), in the "Ai Overclock Tuner" dropdown, I only have Auto, XMP I, and XMP II when run with an i5-12400. I don't appear to have the Manual mode that it appears that the B660 boards seem to have. Setting it to either XMP option does not reveal a BCLK field, nor does it change anything in the Ai Tweaker menu. As a note, when an i5-12600K is put in, I do get the "Manual" option in that dropdown, and the BCLK Frequency setting.

Didn't realize the pictures could be hidden like that. I did some more testing. I did not see any of the BCLK settings on either the TUF Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 or the Strix Z690-A D4. Tested BIOSes 0601, 0807, and 0809 on the TUF (didn't realize there was a 1001 beta as well), and 0707, 0807, and 0901 on the Strix (and again, didn't realize there was a new 1004 beta as well (though Jumper118 in another thread mentioned that the 1001 one does not add it either)).

One thing, which I don't think will necessarily work, but I might try at some point is whether it's possible to set the BCLK setting in the BIOS as a favorite when there's an unlocked CPU in it, and then have it still show up and/or be functional when swapping to the locked CPU. My guess is that it will just get hidden in the favorites menu when the option is not available to use, but still worth a test at some point.

It doesn't work, I tried it on the Aorus z690 Master, with the 12900k I have the BCLK option, I've moved it to favorites, but when I put a 12100F the option disappears everywhere again :(
