der8auer Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I can't stand it anymore - had to leak a first "impression"... @dinos yes preeeetty sure - my grandmother is from poland, one of my grandpas left to england during WWII (a brave man, remember me to tell his story while having a beer ) that is the farest point in my family-history I am aware of Whahahahha fcking epic man Quote
OBR Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 SoF, show us BOX label please ... is there 95W TDP or 77W? 22nm processs is hardly immatured, these E1 revisions are shit Quote
dinos22 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 oh you has 95W one, interesting! you try it on LN2? Quote
OBR Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 i am confused, in every Intel material is 77W, but on some boxes is 95W ... wtf, ive asked Intel, but still no reply from them ps. my retail under ln2 absolute crap, max 6.1 GHz (-150), 1.8V Cinebench R11 stable, superpi 6.3 GHz, nothing more at any voltage Quote
SoF Posted April 13, 2012 Author Posted April 13, 2012 SoF, show us BOX label please ... is there 95W TDP or 77W? 22nm processs is hardly immatured, these E1 revisions are shit 95W - ALL! I am not sure yet if some very cherry chips might hit 6.7-6.8 when they are good and cold and handled well. 7 gig....puhhh.... also 2D and 3D - looks again a bit different, it's not like you are running your highest clock vantage stable anymore... Quote
OBR Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I thought it, 22nm fabrication process is totally shitty, 77W are gone and all E1 are 95W! Quote
M.Beier Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Oh man... 25% smaller DIE surface, 0% lower TDP, this is not good... Quote
der8auer Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Srsly I dont get it. How can they sell 77W but you get 95W? Something is going wrong here. Quote
OBR Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 i have it confirmed from intel, what the hell where is that silly Pipidnoel now? Quote
Massman Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Last time I checked, he was at the legal department suing people. Quote
K404 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I heard a few people wonder if retail would be a little bit gimped so SB-E is not ruined completely. Intel really do not need to release 6.9GHz-capable parts right now. Some people get to make an interesting choice..... stay in Enthusiast/OC league at 6.1-6.4GHz or move to Pro and run 6.7-6.9GHz. dumo Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 On air peeps can test max. memory clocking (@ least with 16Gb) which probly an indication how it will perform under cold. Got an E0 max @ 2850 and an E1 that can go 2933+ both 3570K on air Quote
sin0822 Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 I think IMC is better under not subzero or at least can boot higher. Quote
sin0822 Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 idk i tried same under cold with the memory i usually pop in, and it didn't work, perhaps it was something i did wrong i figured it was the cold. Maybe ill test again. lol Quote
