subaruwrc
Not sure if I worded it correct but that 6.5ghz was on LN2 and that chip was the best water chip too, just tested the other two chips and one mite do 6.1ghz 32m @ 1.65v and the other one that was the worst water chip froze @ 6.1 @ 1.65v. yes i totally understood that and i said what i said because the 5-6 chips i tested was a lot worse than this and im a bit jelaous 6.3 max valid, not even 6.1 max 32m from any of my chips. now keep pushing and go for a killer 32m time! Crew Vivi Posted September 20, 2013 Crew Share Posted September 20, 2013 these low v chips dont scale with more volts, they just hit the nice mhz sooner at lower V. its this damn -125 temp we struggling with. if it was full pot then the low v chips would rule the scene
l0ud_sil3nc3
^Exactly I have three from the same batch as Bullant and they are all great lovo cpu's but very high cb means they stop at 6-6.1 and not a bit more. The best one can validate 5ghz at 1.13v and tops out at 6Ghz, fml

jjjc
Bullant's batch is a good one, you just need to test a few of them. Some of them are just as bad as the rest, but I have seen a few nice chips come out of it so it isn't to be dismissed.

DudeMan
Just received L312B541 from Newegg. *and wont boot even 4.6 even past 1.3v Hey guys, I just picked up an L312B541 from Micro Center for $279 plus tax ~ $305. I'm hoping for better luck than sno, but this is also my first 4770k so that would be extremely lucky. I'll have it up and running by Tuesday at the latest. Asus M6 Formula, Asus GTX 780 DCII, G SKILL Trident X 2400MHz CL10, H100i with SP 120's on it. I'm also going to use IC Diamond thermal paste for the first time, so this should be exciting. Oh and hi everyone! I registered in order to contribute to this thread, that list is very impressive! Alex@ro
4670K run in the same park as far as i am concerned, had no luck with 7 4770K,only junk mostly, switched to 4670K,found 3/7 that can do 5 ghz under 1.4V,L309B384
rsnubje
You are probably lucky as leeghoofd tried a lot of different 4670k and none could do 5GHz. http://forum.hwbot.org/showpost.php?p=265214&postcount=507 Edited September 26, 2013 by rsnubje
MaJ0r
Tested 4 4670K L314B415 best of them could 4500 4c/ct 1.15V Superpi 32M, but didn't load OS at 5000MHz even 1.35V with watercooling.
