Not sure if I worded it correct but that 6.5ghz was on LN2 and that chip was the best water chip too, just tested the other two chips and one mite do 6.1ghz 32m @ 1.65v and the other one that was the worst water chip froze @ 6.1 @ 1.65v.

yes i totally understood that and i said what i said because the 5-6 chips i tested was a lot worse than this and im a bit jelaous :)

6.3 max valid, not even 6.1 max 32m from any of my chips.

now keep pushing and go for a killer 32m time!

these low v chips dont scale with more volts, they just hit the nice mhz sooner at lower V. its this damn -125 temp we struggling with. if it was full pot then the low v chips would rule the scene

^Exactly I have three from the same batch as Bullant and they are all great lovo cpu's but very high cb means they stop at 6-6.1 and not a bit more.

The best one can validate 5ghz at 1.13v and tops out at 6Ghz, fml

it seems we better find a average cb -118 scaling batch than super low voltage not-scaling batch cb-135 :D but seems they will die sooner because of high Volts :D

Bullant's batch is a good one, you just need to test a few of them. Some of them are just as bad as the rest, but I have seen a few nice chips come out of it so it isn't to be dismissed.

Just received L312B541 from Newegg.

*and wont boot even 4.6 even past 1.3v :(

Hey guys, I just picked up an L312B541 from Micro Center for $279 plus tax ~ $305.

I'm hoping for better luck than sno, but this is also my first 4770k so that would be extremely lucky. I'll have it up and running by Tuesday at the latest.

Asus M6 Formula, Asus GTX 780 DCII, G SKILL Trident X 2400MHz CL10, H100i with SP 120's on it. I'm also going to use IC Diamond thermal paste for the first time, so this should be exciting.

Oh and hi everyone! I registered in order to contribute to this thread, that list is very impressive!

our results with L311B514

1x 6400 3dmark01(6540Mhz pifast).......5Ghz 4c8t 1.28 super pi32.....4500 1.088v cinebench

1x 6350 3dmark01......5Ghz 4c8t 1.37V super pi32....4500 1.13v Cinebench[dead now]

1x 6250 3dmark01...5Ghz 4c8t 1.4v boot....4500 1.13v cinebench

1x 6250 3dmark01...5Ghz no boot....4500 1.18v cinebench[Dead]

1x 6170 3dmark01...5Ghz 1.38V....4500 1.14V cinebench

3x 6100 3dmark01...5Ghz no boot... 4500 1.22 cinebench

1x 6000 no boot :D 4500 1.22 cinebench

average cb for all of them -118,best one was -128, worst one was -115

[that -128 cb was Crap for Mhz but that 6540mhz pifast chip was -117]

worth trying ?

not really sure, i had one, but didnt try any on ln2, my guess is it wont scale, but there was a guy who had a l313b9xx that scaled, but very rare occurance

All of my results on hwbot with a 4770k were made with a L310B487: 1M 5.0GHz with 1.2v, 32M with 1.29v, 4.9GHz 3D stable with 1.29v, 4.5GHz with 1.15 Linx AVX2 stable, 5.1GHz 1.3v SPI1M... Everything on air, by now.

Tested 4 4670K L314B415 best of them could 4500 4c/ct 1.15V Superpi 32M, but didn't load OS at 5000MHz even 1.35V with watercooling. So I rejected all of them

You should test every single chip on ln2. Air is just to check the chip. If one of those had -120 - -130 cb maybe it was a 6.3 3d chip.

I'll test if find some chip which can do SuperPi 32m 1.3V 5000MHz and lower volts. I have no money to test all cpu's with LN2 )

best piece does 5 ghz 32M with 1.275,also 5300 validation on normal air cooling, will be testing it under cold soon :)

http://valid.canardpc.com/c0r867

second one is 5 ghz with 1.315,both are very strong in ring frequency,5000 32M stable with 1.45 for first, second only couple of loops

What did you mean in ring frequency?
