This has been verry frustrating I'm using an Asus A7V880 mobo and I am having difficulty getting the sound up and running. I checked the bios and AC97 sound as well as instant on sound are both enabled. Windows says everything is on and working. I thought maybe there was a conflict since I had not done all the windows updates but even after making certain the os was up to date with all updates available it still has no sound. I also have a ati hd2600 which loaded some file for hd audio that I thought may be in conflict so I tried the sound with and without it enabled. I admit I'm not a professional but this is the first time I have been this stumped with a basic pc funct…

I think Massman does a lot of work for Hwbot, and I think he deserves a day's leave. I hope he doesn't get a burn out. What do you think ? Monday would be ok, so he can recover from the weekend.

... but what is it? There's a new kind of overclocking related chart on some hardware information page here on HWBOT. We've been playing with the query last week and although the chart is still beta (needs some fixing in other words), it gives a good estimation on what we will be trying to do in the future. Now ... who is the first to find the chart? (RichBa5tard, you cannot play. SF3D, you cannot play either)

Guys i have a problem and i would like some help to fix an issue with a GTX285. Ok here goes the story , this is a BFG OCX GTX285 1GB Rev.1 , i bought this card the first day they came out so its already quite old. The card its volt moded via vid bridges pins and i have conected them via solder to get 1.3v. its been like that for over a year now. This card was completely dead after a long LN2 session months ago, but i was going thru my big pile of dead hardware and i thought of re-testing the card before going to the trashcan, i cleaned all the sticky armaflex on the back and front of the card as much as i could , i removed the clear coat of nail polish that i applied to …

Ok, i dont know were to put this post,so ill try here. Today i decided to pass on my Captain role to another member,due to my real life work and so on...bla,bla... But, i cannot see moore than the first 20 people in my team on the team pages, the new Captain is listed about nr. 60 on our teamlist i guess... so i can not pass my leadership to him. Problem seems to be,there are NO "next" buttom on the team pages (it used to be one i know..lol) so i cannot scroll my whole teamlist. Is this a temporary bug or something? What was the official launch date of hwbot.org? Who submitted the very first benchmark for boints? What was the Overclcoker's League start date? Who was the first sustained league champion? What was the top processor for 2d benchmark scores during the first month of hwbot? What was the top gpu for 3D Scores during the first month of hwbot? These are just a few curious questions that crept into my mind today. Any chance of digging up the answers?
