  1. This is not correct? EDIT- nevermind. I get it. You would prefer to see MSI named specifically.
  2. Type 'X99A' in the motherboard tab.
  3. No. It was my understanding that Quadro was ok anyway.
  4. What's going on with Dogpile? We had tons of subs, now we don't have crap.
  5. Ha, safe for another day. lol
  6. Have a happy Chris.:celebration:
  7. Exactly correct. The unscrupulous could even double dip points in two categories on the same card. I'm sure this has been happening for a long time now.

    Unlocked CPUs

That is a bot error. We will wait for the category master.

    Unlocked CPUs

You submit the sempy 130 to sempy 130 whether it's unlocked or not. Just select the proper amount of active cores. Always submit to the actual hardware, regardless of what it unlocks to.
  10. That would bring a whole new topic of discussion to the table, How much activity before a bench would be considered inactive and disabled.
  11. It's not that near. The site will stay. Owner is making provisions to keep it up.
  12. Shader unlock to 6970 is a common mod on a 6950. Totally acceptable. Per HWB rules, you still sub as the original piece of hardware.
  13. I agree, it's not hard to spot, but impossible to prove without a doubt, enough to take action against. THAT, has always been a problem here.
  14. My bad. I didn't know we were talking GPU's. Temp tab on GPUz is not a screenshot requirement. Somebody did you a favor. Tell me then, without a pic, how would you know if a CPU was chilled or not? My point being, you still cannot prove temp at HWB, therefore one cannot dispute a sub because of temp of water. The chilled water classification is a farce. It is based on trusting the submittor, and we all know how that goes here.
  15. How exactly is it obvious other than having a picture? Yes, it's new.
  16. Try Firefox Frank. I had issues too and that seemed to work.
  17. It's totally relevant. Overclocking also existed on HWB before sponsors became involved. Also, new and old hardware co-existed peacefully during that time. Now as it stands, and by your statement, old HW should not have a place here because vendors are not interested in it or anybody that benches it, and that's fine, but to segregate and or eliminate it so the site can be paid for pretty much defines where you stand. I most certainly hope the staff here does not share your current gen only opinion.
  18. You're a funny guy. Overclocking existed even before the vendors knew what it was, or figured out that they could leverage it for advertising. Top rankings on old HW, IMO, is even more prestigious than on cutting edge HW.
