I didn't see any scaling to 1.8v but I also saw I had a pretty bad mount afterwards so perhaps it may yet scale. Probably won't rerun this until next year though unless it seems in december that this stage needs more attention paid to it. This seems a solid score for now and there's so many stages I have yet to sub lol

Cpu still matters for 3dm06 too though. AFAIK lga 1156 is the newest board with native PCI. Which non native PCI should have a fairly impact and be especially made worse on the newer PCI gpus as they are not native PCI either so you'd be using a bridgechip to go from pcie on the core to PCI on the slot, then back to PCIE from the slot to the chipset. I did some math and even with the best possible cpu score the cost to graphics score from running non native seems to be too much for overall score. May find an older platform like 775 may still beat 1156 if there's no way to OC the PCI bus on any 1156 or 1366 board.

I mean as long as you get a strong 2080ti/titan score as long as you get a pci score I think you should be good. Although I think anyone who's started researching for PCI score will have seen that it doesn't necesarily matter the core used that much anyways as PCI is very limited and if you have to convert from pcie to pci to pcie it has a disadvantage over just pcie to pci conversion.

If I run anything but hwinfo disabled it crashes before run. Similar to how benchmate crashes on hwinfo initialization during open. I think the problem is with hwinfo initialization in the two apps and I'm not sure why, hwinfo opens fine and I even tried dropping the dlls from working hwinfo into the folders and it didn't work

Is there a hard limit to how many threads gpupi can scale to? I found on 7742 that it was way faster smt off than on, like 55s smt on, 33s smt off. Also had crash on save in 3.2 vs 3.3 that was fine but I think that's a hwinfo thing cause benchmate crashes on hwinfo initialization despite hwinfo itself running fine.

Country CUP - Stage 14 design Poll
yosarianilives replied to Leeghoofd's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I voted for FSE and server limitations but I'd like to change my vote to don't change the comp at all, it's been up for a week and people really should've gotten their complaints in during the month or so that this stage was planned for. It's kinda silly to change the stage when there's been plenty of time to dispute it and some people have already gotten scores in. As for server gpus, titan z was explicitly allowed before the comp with the comment "I have no problem with the big shot cards for Country Cup" which probably also extends to workstation cards. -
