    Yeah, looks like they moved all the good stuff to the OC Panel. I have one on my 24/7 rig for my Maximus 7 Impact but I've never used it beyond its monitoring capabilities.

    Wiggles, one of my first steps in troubleshooting a board that won't post is to measure resistance across the VRM's. I know you said they don't seem visibly damaged but they can be dead without showing any signs. EDIT: Also a good idea to post over at KPC to try to get TiN's help. He's a magician. :ws:

    ROG Connect is awesome. Does the RVE not have buttons? Just relies on the OC Panel?

    This is definitely an extreme forum... 2V+ is encouraged here! Bull, myself and others are annoyed at ASRock for not releasing the mOCF [yet]. Seeing you post these insane results pushes that more and more. However, keep posting your results. They're amazing and we're all champing at the bit for ASRock's little board. I think the annoyance comes from companies putting out incredible results with products that will never be retail. As far as I am aware, ASRock still intends to release this board... so it's good by me.

    Also, keep in mind that if you're going for max frequency, it doesn't have to be boot stable. You can boot in at like 5.5GHz and then raise the frequency once in Windows.

    Seconded! I know we discussed a lot and plenty of options were thrown around. Did you decide to move forward with one? Will the community have input on the specifics? Perhaps a new thread to do so?

    Everyone was pulling for mOCF as the Pi board for the common man. Seems tensions are raising since ASRock won't release the damned thing First we heard before December, then Mid-December, then no idea, may not release at all.

    Incredible run! Can you do similar frequencies with two cores? That way you can set affinity to the second core and have explorer run on the first to free up resources. I assume you have 2nd/3rd timings tight as well?

    Interesting find! It may be worth your time to plot temperatures as well in case that's what is causing the throttling.

    It's this benchmark that Intel made that calculates your score based on your frequencies and then runs Prime 95 for a minute or so.
