    You know PJ, I don't have one to test anymore, but I think a lot of it is the improved IMC from the Ivy architecture. Just think of the difference from Sandy to Ivy memory clock wise. Regardless every IC has been so easy to run in quad channel as long as you have decent kits. Still have BBSE to test but I think 2600 8-11-7-22 should be doable which should be very strong for any 3D benching.

    Thanks PJ will give this a spin in a bit and see if it fixes the issue. edit: No go, still the same thing. Do you think my copy of W7 might have something to do with it?

    ^The R4E BE has an issue with my 32M OS, at least with the 4820K, will test with the 4960X and see if the problem still exists. I am pretty sure Dumo said multi works fine on his OS so maybe shoot him a pm.

    ^Very nice XA 4820K was a no go for 3000 c9 32M even though it has no issues booting those frequencies/timings.

    4820K 3327A808 http://valid.canardpc.com/s32c5u Cinebench R11.5 all @ cold air c7 c8 IMC seems decent, 3000+ with Samsung, will post more shortly.

    ^Exactly I have three from the same batch as Bullant and they are all great lovo cpu's but very high cb means they stop at 6-6.1 and not a bit more. The best one can validate 5ghz at 1.13v and tops out at 6Ghz, fml

    Hmmm, must be an isolated issue as I have benched with the OCF more times than I can count (cpu/mem) under cold. I have never added vaseline to the board as paper towels in my arid climate seems to be more than enough. If it is peeling I would just RMA it as it seems like it could just be a bad coating job on the board and should be covered under warranty.
