Well it was get 742 or . . .
i kid i kid, but no really can not stress how not fun this was. Oh well now it's time to test this chip in the little board, on cold, the way it was meant to be run
It does, it's called cpu cold bug killer voltage in the Asrock bios and as Allen has stated start at around 2.2v and slowly work your way up until cb is non existent.
I had to adjust cpu vccpll along with the above for the i3 6300 the other night but once you get these volts dialed in it's smooth sailing after that.
Cleaned up OP will add more to it tonight but if it's something high end, there's a good chance I have one in the collection (cpu's, memory, mobo's, psu's etc. . .). The exception to the rule is vga's well cause 3D sucks
Thanks all cutting it close here. . .
@zdrvr
The latest one posted in the thread at XS will work or just check in the Z170 OCF thread as should be a link in there as well for what you are looking for.
Started testing i3 6300 ES chips first one up seems pretty decent.
Full pot no problem and retail memory from the egg (4000 c12 32M stable max on this kit) worked well with the Z170M OCF.
