  1. @UP you have to find the ClockGen model out. If it overclocks, it overclocks If locked or only "big steps" possible (133, 166, 200 MHz), it could be tweaked. But there you might have to solder some mods.
  2. 1st place on SS, you beat me What batch? I did 5.805 GHz and required only <1.5 Vcore so hard to say which would be better @ LN2. Keep pushing mate!
  3. I think: 1. P4P800 SE Deluxe doesn't exist 2. P4P800S-E exists (the TSdiesel's motherboard) 3. There's a bug in HWB database (Change chipset i848p to i865pe ) These are mine thoughts which seemed the most reasonable.
  4. http://www.motherboard.cz/mb/asus/P4P800SE.htm - P4P800-se i865 http://www.motherboard.cz/mb/asus/P4P800SSE.htm - P4P800s-se i848P There's a bug in database. Motherboard in this submission is P4P800-se with i865P I think.
  5. I tested ~50-52 x celeron 430 and there was 16 different batches. All of them Costa Rica, 2007(24pcs) and 2008(23pcs), few from Malay. The same batches were close to another from the same batch (eg. 20 MHz FSB from the best to the worst from same batch code). In dual core and newer than 65 nm batches are less informing. Atleast country and the year is often crucial.
  6. Try to play with CPUZ.ini. Try change "1" to "0" options. Acpi, DMI, SMBus, Chipset and so. Let us know if it help. I had problems with 1.63 version and socket A nforce 2 based systems. I haven't tried >1.72 ver on socket A yet.
  7. I can see what happened here. I had few valid files and old canardpc validator had a bug when you want to upload few valids in short time. I can see my mailbox from 2014-04. I have 2 same validated links - it means that I uploaded 304 MHz score and after this probably thy 340 MHz score and validator made it wrong, gave me 2 mails with the same link. Sadly I have no old valids now, even if I had them it doesn't work. Can HWBstuff edit to 304.62 MHz score?
  8. lanbonden thanx I always try to describe my scores. First it helps me to recall my ideas, second can be helpful to other overclockers or at least inspires overclockers to do extreme scores . Unchecked in CanardPC validator means that I used "F7" validation method when set XOC=1 in cpuz.ini. This parameter causes low CPU load while saving validation file.
  9. Thanx mate If I had more time I could do more OC scores. Another problem is my broken Single Stage. I will repair it one day and be back to OC...
  10. I did not know anything about number of outputs of this DDS2 device. My question was about number of needed signals to make motherboard workable, stable and overclockable. Signals I meant are for example: pci, memclk, fsb and maybe some others. Now as I can see only output sine wave is needed to "cheat" the pll chip. So REF0 and REF1 pins have to be connected to 14.3 MHz clock source? The second thing is to remove crystal from X1 and X2 and to connect the output sine wave to X1 pin? That's all? Are'nt there any "weird" motherboard behaviour? For example: speed-up time (for example 1minute on modded motherboard is 40 seconds real), not working USB or not working peripherials? Good work man! I'm very interested and I was thinking about to do myself similar mod but I didn't know anything about which signals-to-be-modded. (and I did not spend more than few hours doing research on "pll-mod" )
  11. What signals was necessary? So you soldered the output of DDS2 to the reference-clock-oscillator and it caused rising of PLL maximum frequency? Or could you explain what signals go where Good job, that's a hard mod. You can now beat top-socket7-FSB score.
  12. Wow, I'm wondering when the Solano limits are going to be acheved. Maybe somebody will design "overclocking version" of the solano platform motherboard, with better clock generator and do 300 MHz
  13. @trodas You can put higher multiplier CPU and do your unofficial frequency. It could be interesting eg. AMD K6-III @30 MHz SPI1M -->> ~1day (or maybe 30 MHz is too fast to do 1 day, then look for 2x cpu or even 3x) //I mean please do this and we will be able to see if only 32M combination with slow CPU is causing problem or if 1 MB is also crashing. If both crash then we can say that it is caused by SPI version, not 32MB option... You know what I mean. I could check this if I had "unofficial" settings //
  14. You can also integrate any drivers to devices by some methods. One is "F6" just after installation begin. (probably only controllers). Integrated drivers in Nlite is another method. I had a big fight with my notebook. I have even destroyed BIOS content and had to reflash it which means desoldering BIOS chip. Destroyed my optical drive (because cheap DVD does'nt have z-axis laser lens moving ability, it was just glued on "proper" height and while cleaning lens I destroyed it and had to use USB... this is where my problems began) before Google found "komku.org" I used lots of programs but none of them worked or had strange behaviour. You can integrate for example AHCI driver to use SATA more commands and optimise PC performance. Nlite will help if BSoD during installation process. good luck
