  1. Hi Folks! *NOTE: Due to work I can only ship on Saturdays* heatware: https://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=84580 Selling off my fm2 stuff to start raising funds for Kaby. Everything is in full working condition. With a little effort and better ram overclocks, am sure these can all do better than what I got out of them. Payments via paypal only. All prices include priority shipping to US48. As far as trades (or cash +/-, etc), would be interested in: -'golden' 775, 1155 or 1150 cpus - gskill pis that can do 2666c8 tight - ssds or m2 drive Thanks for looking! A10-6800K: Decent chip but not a real strong apu for benching. Didn't really put much time into it, though so it could have more to give. Overclocking, overclocking, and much more! Like overclocking. Used with single-stage so has some light eraser remnants. Not as fast as the Giga one but perfect for light benching or multimedia use. 2. No competition points for an ocsports competition? As someone who still hasn't gotten 10, 'tis a bit of a bummer. Ah well. It was still fun to learn a bit more about this bench but not worth too much more testing/tweaking time. Going forward, if there are no boints for a challenge or comp, could that info be listed on the main ocsports page for that? As an aside...as Rauf pointed out, 4 sticks does much better than 2 so, for example, z170 oc formula has a significant built-in advantage over the z170m ocf. Was going to try 8 sticks of psc in a 2011 board for comparison but, unfortunately, a couple are dead and I'm down to 7 Tried 4 sticks in 2011 (3930k/rive, 2400 7-11-7), ddr3 result wasn't even close to being competitive against z97 (g3258) at same cpu clock and ram sticks/speed/timings.
  3. hiya bartx! Let me look around....think I've got one (although it may only be a GT)
  4. Badass modder and great guy GLWS man! Am sure this'll go quickly (if it hasn't already)
  5. Hey! Don't see a 'send pm' link on your profile. That msi board is still available.
  6. Wow! Some booming subs with that chip dude! Congrats and keep goin'!!
  7. I won't be able to make Vegas Hoping for another summer get-together in the NY/NJ/PA area.
  8. Thanks speed.fastest! Will definitely add moar volts next time out with this chip
  9. Thanks marc! PS- Man...you've been blasting out there! Keep rockin'!
  10. Hiya Alby! Bummer Finally getting the hang of this chip. Took me forever to figure out I had a bad batch of paste Too bad this one's so much slower than my other 6700k (which i somehow managed to warp). Hope you're doing well dude!
  11. Cycling only occurred when I tried overclocking. Stripped the eraser off the board, no visible signs of anything wrong, burnt, etc.. Don't see anything in either ram slot. Going to give the whole thing a good spraying with contact cleaner.
  12. Ugh...no fun today Had issues with the losing the sata even during stock. Re-flashed the bios. Got it working (not sure how but whatever...seems inconsistent) and started the slow pour. Sat in bios until -80C, did the settings and save/exit. System struggled a bit (losing the sata drive again) but after about the 5th try...the system started with the 19>00>4C>00>19 cycling again. What the heck???
  13. Thanks Strong! cpu standby = pll bandwidth = vccpll? 2.78v..can't be vccpll...can it?
  14. Thanks guys! Will change voltages, give it another shot and let you know. Thanks again...really appreciate the help!
  15. Hiya! Yes...sees them at stock. I copied the voltages you posted originally Haven't tried CB Killer at lower volts. Tried DMI at 1.5v, didn't seem to make a difference.
  16. Having some trouble and hoping you folks know the answer (or have ideas). Last few times I've taken a cpu cold in the board, the system starts to post but consistently keeps losing the hardrive. Post codes move through as normal but at post, it shows A0 then A2 and hangs. My main settings are: vcore=1.50 vccio= 1.40 boot pll= 1.638 eventual pll=1.651 vccsa=1.40 vcc pll= 1.50 CB killer= 2.392 DMI=1.794 Have tried with different drives and different cables, same issue. Reflashing MEI didn't help, either. Whenever I get into bios, it doesn't see any drives installed. Thoughts? Ideas? Tia!!
  17. Thanks again Alby! Bookmarked. Had this board running 650-ish with the nb under water. Heard that with the quads. Will load up a p45 board.
  18. Hey Alby! Thanks man! So...cool all that stuff in red? Also...ran my nice q6600 under ln2 but couldn't get above 527fsb vs the 538 I got last time running it under cascade. Only difference was that last time I used had the nb waterblock connected to a loop. Would that explain the 'missing' 11MHz fsb? If so...thinking the nb around -25C should give an additional 5-10 fsb?
