[Help] tips for optimal settings for 3770K @ LN2
crustytheclown replied to Zannema's topic in Ivy Bridge (Z77) OC
Did you turn ln2 mode on from the jumper? 3770k's did not have many voltages to mess with you just need good paste and over 105 bclk to bench. -
Also please note that z270 and xp is a no go for sli.Sad but true...
-
I had no issue too on Z170 but on Z270 we had...
-
It is just a 3dmark01 issue that is struggling with newer cards and HW nothing more.
-
The low memory issue has nothing to do with the benchmark itself and is not responsible for not running the benchmark. It is a glitch at 3dmark01 sysinfo and nothing more. Bios or sata has also nothing to do with hanging at 3dmark01 loading. Open 3dmark01 go to Edit-Settings and click the first square there that disables loading. That has to work.
-
Or just disable loading screen...
-
Vantage is CPU bound due to it's low resolution. If you and your friend want to compare cards try a newer benchmark like Time Spy.

Lol Der8auer,Dancop and Benchbros have used the same setup for stage 4... Think before you speak.

Maximus III Extreme needs clr cmos to start
crustytheclown replied to Calathea's topic in General hardware discussion
If you remove 24pin without clear cmos does it boot? If yes then a cap probably needs replacement cause it does not unload voltage completely thus triggering boot failure. I have had the same problem in many old motherboards. -

Using VGA Hotwire function of OC Panel in daily basis.
crustytheclown replied to phil's topic in Volt modifications
Having seen it live i have to admit it is VERY convenient to use. Just solder the wires to the correct places in vga and all voltages set and monitoring is done by OC panel. Steps are not that big for most GPU's (i think only AMD vgas with 50 Ohms vmod will have problem) Phil has done a great work and THANKS for sharing man. -

That's exactly what i said at post #24 -
Nope you can change every process' priority. They just moved all the processes in a temp file that gets erased at the end of each benchmark. It's very easy to just copy these temp processes while running xtu and change anything you need to them and then just throw them back in the temp file to be ready for the next run.Simple as that.

It's a very out of the box tweak guys. And it is very legit so relax and try to find it out. -
you have to remove the cap for the pll near the cpu socket and then connect the e-power to it's place. It's very easy and we used to do it way before e-power's were invented.
