This was my first comp and it was fun, I see that its like on ebay auctions, the fun begins a day before the end . Congrats to top overclockers.

I made 3 volt mods in my time i used a 20€ bought new soldering station. So its good to have a good soldering iron but its not a must. I made that on a cheap hardware, p4c800 motherboard, 8800gts and 3870 x2 gpu... If you use 300€+ gpu I think you will be more careful Trimmers or vr's you can buy them mixed, but look for the ones with many turns, not those cheap one with one turn. I used them but you need to be careful turning those... Glue gun is great, not esential of course but very handy to flue the wire when you solder so you dont break it off and to glue the vr in place. I highly recomend it, it is cheap to buy anyway. Fot the station i cant recomend none but here weler at top of the brands.

I see, but it took me 3 days to get this running on my p4 and when i finally after 6+ hours bench I get N/A in return. I am dissapointed and this is my first competition that I participated. :\

Man you got some good deals there! UK is big and you got everything there , got the same problem like op, i know of only 2 people in my country that uses ln2 or caskade and I dont even know them in person . For op i would say chiller is no good for benching, maybe for 24/7 use, i would buy single stage for sure, for 500$ you will find one here on hwbot just wait and make an ad.

I dont think that anything that you will change in the points section will atract new extreme overclockers. Lets face it to be extreme it costs a lot of money, the ln2 cost here is the least, i bought a dewar that costs like a high end gpu, a used shi*y pot and lets go on my 24/7 rig. It was fun, but then if you want good results you need a good motherboard, bined some cpus and you just scrached the surface, where is ram and then gpu+ all the knowledge to use this, vmods..... Who will do extreme doesnt care about scores, i didnt, at the begining that is, now i am addicted in a way and I dont think that is a good thing

On my devar there is a gauge from 0-1.6 bar and the thread is 3/4. Why dont you photograph the one on the working dewar and find a similar one, if it fits in the thread it doesnt matter if the scale is not the same. On the pictures i dont see any hose for the filling in the thermos?

I have a 60gb Vertex 2 drive, bought used and i used it for a couple of weeks for my bench table. Then it wasnt recognised anymore, tried 3 systems and nothing. Than I opened the drive up, and some kind of known smell of burnt electronics got in my nose. There is a burnt chip, on the chip there is U8AP 608 . Can i replace this chip, where could i buy it? Google gives me nothing. I can get a picture if that will help in any way. Thanks

Do you have a stick for cheap 10€ cca I have a p4c800 board i will use, but dont want to pay too much for this for 350fsb 1:1 or something.
