Huh, nice testing. I noticed it on a Celeron 430 IIRC, but it was while I was binning so didn't test any benches. I found booting higher helped prevent it from occuring as soon; not a solution but the best I could find at the time.

I was thinking kinda similarly, if benchmarks are not buggy and cheatable (on the whole) then surely they could all have HWpts enabled? And vice versa. Not sure about global pts as I'm not sure what the aim of them is. The number of benches with them was reduced with Rev7, but I can't remember why.

Shame. :( I thought it was an Asus issue as I retested my P5Q-E the other day and it seemed to be extremely picky with ram sticks. Also, my good stick was posting fine in different boards. I guess if DDR2 max freq comes up in Team Cup I'll retry using my UD3R.

Why are you comparing boards at 10x multi, surely both will do 570MHz FSB easy? Edit: Oh it's a quad. I have both boards and they all do decent FSB +670, but admittedly the EP45T has a bunch of bios issues.

Tried PSC on phase at 4GHz Wolfdale, but still pretty slow.

It's a shame the mem dividers are broken on this board as it can do 2480C7 1M (and 2360C7 32M) with 1:2; none of the other dividers (except 1:1) seem to work properly at reasonable FSBs. Also, 1T doesn't work.
