The naming could change??? Who is Elite??? ---- ES hardware, LN2 benching, Points, Total Points?? <- I saw a History show on the (British) SAS. There was no - I Think I'm good enough to be - IF YOU WERE - then you would already be in the SAS unit !! There is NO want to be an Extreme Bencher - You Benching ________ (20+???)subs with LN2 you are shooting to be the next - SPlave/OGS/bigblock990/ Top % of overclocker's. This also has a Points/Time Limit -> Not everybody can be the TOP % so if you slack off/haven't benched in _________ you drop back/down a slot/ranking. I Know...I Know BUT you can't still be Called/Ranked an Extreme/Elite Bencher from 5 years ago !!!! If the Top Indie Car racer or ->Insert Name<- took 2~5 yrs off - they would never be classified to even finish their first race back... ^ This could also be a (A) List of who got Invited (Personally_Top 20~30) to go to ___________ or compete for the Title of The Worlds Most Elite/ ->Insert Name<- Overclocker. Now of course you start the year with comps and the TOP _____ go to the next round... In the END K|ngP|n/Slave/OGS is crowned/awarded the Title + Money. - Who Knows...in 3~5 years it may be who has the most YouTube Viewers (Because they are so GOOD and EVERBODY wants to be HIM/HER) Learning how to OC by the Masters that they are the ones getting invited to compete ? Then you have the Enthusiast that will use everything from Chilled Water, SS, Dice, and ______ LN2 (5~15 subs??). Now you have the Apprentice (Points/Time ??) that is moving up from Rookie/Novice. This bencher is learning how to use a Custom Water Loop/Chilled Water and may be saving for a SS/Dice setup. A Novice is someone who has either WON a RR Competition or has ______ Points/Time as a Rookie. A Rookie is someone who is just starting out with a computer and has less than _______ Points/Time. -> You can't be qualified a Rookie if you've WON a RR. There should be no I've been a Rookie for 5mo and have won the last 3 RR's I'm not sure how long to allow voting but less than a week is to too short. ??? ^ This is just the Rumblings from an OLD MAN ? I have to agree on the 1st part sort-of. We are currently undergoing a MAJOR shift in the CPU/MB camp - You simply state --- ALL Processors/MB after - will be run on Win 10/BM submissions only ? The New Intel " Socket 1200__MB z470/90 " will not be backwards compatible with Win 7 <- The last " HWBot Certified " MS OS. Unless there is a BIOS Hack <- Instant Banning. The New AMD Zen 3 has a work-around but will not continue after this year. AMD's "Zen 4__MB x670/90 will not be backwards compatible with Win 7 either. ^ IIRC these are projected to be released this year 2020!!! Thus WE START NOW laying the ground work/foundation for the HWBot League (or whatever) that will be HERE 3yrs, 5yrs, 10yrs from ________ <- ADD DATE -> I'm a small voice BUT it should still count -> That is what a Democratic/Republic administration allows <- OR -> You can have a Dictatorship administration where 5-10 Members control everything. That last option would leave this a very lonely place. We NEED to support Both Side Right NOW - OLD School (Win 7 and <) - NEW School (Win 10 and >). If not -- WE (I hope I'm still here) will have the SAME problems 5 years from now that we are complaining about in the Forums now. *** What we already have going for US already (All Current Members) is a great Benching Software (Is it 100% foolproof - NO!! Because you will never stop that .1% that has to WIN/Be First) AND also -- Splave (ELite) -- has already backed as a Future Requirement in all submissions. *** OCN (I hope I'm allowed to post this) has already made it a Requirement to even compete in their Freezer Burn competition -> https://www.overclock.net/forum/410-benchmarking-competitions/1738924-freezer-burn-2019-round-3-a.html. On the 2nd part I think the Basic Rookie is 3mo and the you have the Advanced Rookie > 1yr. This is also subjected to points (a rookie is not going to have an assortment of equipment) that = ____ points for Beginner and Advanced. Somewhere in that MIX is the Seasoned Bencher that plays with SS/Dice BUT 90% of submissions is with Water. He may BUT will only have less than (5~15 ??)____ submissions using LN2. I know that was a heated debate on that subject....⚠️ Who is classified as an Elite ??? They get ES samples ?? Use LN2 for more than 25~30 submissions in a yr ?? Total Points Earned through 5, 10 - 20 years of submissions ??? You have the TOP 5% that will always want to be listed in the TOP 15 or TOP % of ________ Bench ( This way ______ sends them _______ for free ? ) You have the Bottom 5% that are trying this out and will either stick around or leave. This is fun/enjoy doing this or their those people are weird....?‍♂️ Then you have the 80% that have stuck around for YEARS and really enjoy trying to better their score (from last week(s)/month(s)/year(s)) or having a friendly comp now and again ( They compete EVEN though they know they will not WIN <- I know, I know some people are like that ?‍♂️ ) I Know my % does not = 100% --- You have to account for the 5% THAT -> You have pissed off and have left/quit ---- 2% THAT have been Banned (permanently ??) ---- and the 3% that have previously left/quit BUT have decided to come back after (week(s)/month(s)/year(s)) ⏲️ time away. I have a Thank You and a Request ? I have a EVGA x299 Dark & i9-10940x with BIOS 1.21. I'm currently working on benching it in Win 7 with a AIO. I can not get WPrime to run as I get an error BUT BM 0.10.5 does not have this problem as it correctly detects the CPU and runs WPrime - Thank You. I did not have this problem with my i9-7900x or i9-9820x. Request - I know this not your fault BUT - I hope someone with a contact at EVGA can fix this problem. In Win 7 you can not run EleetX while BM is also running. <- I know I'm a nobody but someone might like to have this option for easier OCing.

I agree but have to toss in the odd ball. A) I live in _________ that is 32c (~90f) to 40c (104f) in summer so I use a ice chest with my Rads = Water Chilled/Cold. Max cooling ~ 0c (32f) B) I own a Water Chiller (Hailea HC-500) with a max (un-modded) of 4c (~40f) = Water Chilled/Cold. Max cooling ~ 4c (32f) C) I live in __________ that is -20c (-4f) to -30c+ (-22f+) in the winter so I place my Rads in Window = Water Chilled/Cold. Max cooling ~ -15c (5f) / Outside = Water Chilled/Cold. Max cooling ~ 30c+ (-22f+). D) A DIY Water Chiller (On Internet by Tin_EE - Sub_Zero Version) can hit ~ -30c+ (-22f+) IF properly setup = Water Chilled/Cold. Max cooling ~ 30c+ (-22f+) ^ In the above scenario, we are talking of up to a -30c (-22f) difference between setups The C & D options are on the borderline of a Single Stage Phase Change system. <- This is IIRC a SS that can hit -35c (-31f) @ the CPU IHS. I understand that the Rad/Water Block will not be 100% c/f temp @ the CPU IHS but it's something to think about ? Thank You P.S. I would like to fix these errors but I can only view/change the last 20 submissions with a __________. ^ This is the only place (Specially made just for ME ? ) that you will find a EVGA R9-280x submission. Thank You I was more referring to 25 or 50 points for have the fastest Air Cooled, AIO, Ect, Ect i7 8700k/8086k in SuperPi, PiFast, CB-11.5/15/20. Currently It's (Here's a Cookie) a thank you for your submission BUT being 1st with the lowest score does not count (He He/Ha Ha). The hard part is making sure that each category stays within X c/f temp.

I feel for where you are coming from ? I Would love a total break down of the Cooling Categories. I know it would be impractical but ? the best score for the fastest SuperPi using a - i7-8700k on AIR, AIO, Custom Water, Chilled Water, Ect, Ect. You will always have the .01% that has to WIN no matter what. I got bumped to the Extreme League because I got a chance to Bench with LN2 AND submitted the scores. I bench 99.5% with Custom Water and may pull out the the Dice for that .5%. I know I will NEVER get those scores again with this setup - OH WELL. I do this to have fun and chat with some great guys. My Wife's family has a nice saying : If you LOVE your JOB - You will never WORK a Day ? P.S. The above statements are my own and do not reflect the views of my Team or Their Web Site.
