Crew Leeghoofd Posted August 14, 2014 Crew Share Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Overclockers.UK already has these listed for pre-order Here's the extract from their website: Vengeance LPX memory is designed for high-performance overclocking. The heatspreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the eight-layer PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom. Each IC is individually screened for performance potential. The DDR4 form factor is optimized for the latest Intel X99 Series motherboards and offers higher frequencies, greater bandwidth, and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules. Vengeance LPX DDR4 modules are compatibility-tested across X99 Series motherboards for reliably fast performance. There’s XMP 2.0 support for trouble-free automatic overclocking. And, they’re available in multiple colors to match your motherboard, your components, or just your style. Specification:- - 2800MHz (PC4-23000) - CAS Timings: 16-18-18-36 - Voltage: 1.20v Edited August 29, 2014 by Leeghoofd
TaPaKaH
Funny, DDR3 can run 1400MHz at almost half the timings

Crew Leeghoofd Posted August 14, 2014 Author Crew Share Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) you shot them first in Germany man, I only got them today and opened the box, took some shots... Now if Corsair wants them pulled I'll pull them. However I don't see the issue, as these were already all over the web this afternoon on the major British sites... I really digg the simplistic low profile heatspreader design... Edited August 14, 2014 by Leeghoofd

TaPaKaH
I also wonder how Corsair are planning to make these do spec since DDR3-2800 multi doesn't seem to be working. BCLK overclock via XMP?

RamboOC
Why are the contacts longer in the middle? Also I don't think this is as impressive as going from ddr2>ddr3
rsnubje
They're longer in the middle to make it easier to put it in a dimm slot, which kinda works.
