Administrators websmile Posted December 12, 2016 Administrators Posted December 12, 2016 No idea, I will have to try on Impact if I can run 4133 49/50 with the 6100 or maybe even the 6600k, on my MOCF sample I cannot even boot 3866 49/50 Quote
tistou77 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Hello You know if these kits have the B-Die? Possible to run at 3200 14-14-14 at ~ 1.35v cmd32gx4m4b3600c16 cmd16gx4m2b3200c14 Thanks Quote
Administrators websmile Posted December 21, 2016 Administrators Posted December 21, 2016 The 3600c16 should be B-die for sure, I know of no other ics that can do this at 1,35v. 3200 c14 as well, but you never know unless you checked^^ Quote
tistou77 Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Thanks so much for your reply I will test the 3600 C16, hoping it will run at 3200 14-14-14 and ~1.35v Quote

aussie-revhead Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) Guys, I have a 5960x on water and I want to work on its efficiency (to boost my 3D physics) so I have some B-die coming for it. What mem clocks and timings should I be aiming for? If I can only do 3200 or so then can I run tight with less volts? What is a safe vdimm for daily use? Thanks so much for your reply I will test the 3600 C16, hoping it will run at 3200 14-14-14 and ~1.35v Is this a good target for me or tighter? What about at 1.5v or so? Thanks Edited January 14, 2017 by aussie-revhead Quote
Administrators websmile Posted January 14, 2017 Administrators Posted January 14, 2017 at 3200 with 1,5v c13 should be in at least, depending on stick quality cas12 might be doable as well, you will see how imc, board and sticks cooperate Quote
speed.fastest Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Whats your best b-die do at 3866 1.35v? This is G.SKILL 16GB 3600 16-16-16-36 1.35v XMP Mine 3866 17-17-17-37 1.35v (1.344v real) 3866 16-16-16-36 1.35v (1.344v real) error at 41.1% HCI Memtest Quote
Doug2507 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Away to buy some of the new g.skill rgb stuff. What kits did you guys find best with the stock heatspreaders? Undecided whether to just grab a pair of 3200cl14/3600cl16 or go for 4kcl18/4266cl19 Quote
Gunslinger Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 so what's the secret to 4K C12 in Win 7 and 8.1? I can run XTU for days high and tight in Win 10 but can't even get to the desktop in 7 or 8.1 Quote

Undecided whether to just grab a pair of 3200cl14/3600cl16 or go for 4kcl18/4266cl19 If you want to bin many kit better take 3200 c14 or 3600 c16/15. If not binning take 4133 or 4266. Quote
Doug2507 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Yeah, won't be binning. Oddly the 4kc18is priced higher than 4266c19. Wondering if the 4k was a harder bin due to slightly lower vdimm that the 4266s. 1 Quote
Administrators websmile Posted January 22, 2017 Administrators Posted January 22, 2017 What do you search for, Doug? Waza 12-12/12-11 4k+ or daily oc at 4k + and 1,4v? This is quite decisive on what to buy^^ Quote
