jcniest5 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 (edited) I have a L039B120 with A2046 (last 5 digits of SN#) that can do 4.945Ghz using 1.40V. I could go higher but my crappy HSF isn't up to the task so because of high temp, I don't want to. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1711903 L041C108....5.5Ghz maxed. Nowadays, my local Micro Center looks like Luxor Las Vegas where I can gamble for 5 minutes with a 2600K on 50/50 odds. Lol Was that C batch obtained from Micro Center as well? Linuxfan Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 A little L041C108 party reporting in... All done on water with a M4E #1333 booted 100.9 5449mhz 1.55v 2c2t absolute max #3576 54x took more than 1.55v to boot 2c2t. Booted with 1.62v #3984 54x 1.55v boot #4584 52x boot 1.55v So out of 4 chips... 1 is 52xx and three are all 54xx with one that doesn't run with lower voltages. Quote

Maybe the 4th number of the serial number plus 5 x .873 equals a prime number its a good chip? We had several theories while binning, though mostly the next CPU obliterated it again Thx tones for the opportunity !! Edited March 15, 2011 by Leeghoofd Quote

Crew Leeghoofd Posted March 15, 2011 Crew Posted March 15, 2011 We did it like this : 1.55Vcore set, try to boot 54X. No boot or no HD detected : drop multi till we got into windows ... If boot was succesfull at 55X, try higher... mess with bclock... Takes about 5 mins per CPU... Quote

mac87 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 to be clear on looking at the # number of chips I made this quick graph no significative tendancy can be observed between #number and the maximum oc even for close #numbers, the difference of max oc can be huge mean oc is 5300MHz Quote
Massman Posted March 15, 2011 Author Posted March 15, 2011 The issue is that we don't know how # are assigned to the CPUs. So #10 might not be 5 places further away from #15 than #20. Quote
