August 30, 201212 yr Crew Thx for showing this. For me this gives me only 3-4pages extra on AMD. I fear there is something not right... "Internet Explorer restricted this..." When setting http to "1", error goes away. Anyone know the problem?
August 30, 201212 yr Find it out, the registry settings work fine on every System. And why should it wrong, that there are errors:) 3d benching with artefacts is also no error.
August 31, 201212 yr Dennis i know your skills in tweaking; ) Please give some hints for Text edit and Audio;)
September 9, 201212 yr @Christian Ney. In your Web Page Rendering settings you also disabled "Enable Automatic Image Resizing" (Activer le redimesionnement automatique de l'image). In my tests I found that doing so it actually decreases score by 5%.
September 9, 201212 yr Crew Genieben good find ! CN gaves us the wrong tips, that cheecky swiss french tart ! I call the vote: CN ban for live !! la moule !!!
September 9, 201212 yr We all know Transparent Windows subtest does not start if Windows Visual Settings aren't set to default, but I have found a workaround. Because of the recording software scores are seriously dragged down, but you can still make an idea of what this tweak can do to your final score if used right. So far my best boost from this tweak was 45%. I looked in this threat hopefully there is Text edit now damn:) Not sure if it's of any use for anyone, but this is the file used in TE. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10046731/Forum%20Attachments/pcm05%20TEXTEDIT.rtf Edited September 9, 201212 yr by GENiEBEN
September 13, 201212 yr Fixed, thanks! Got it, but now I'm confused. That is the file that the benchmark uses to do the searching on the TE test. You telling me that you've changed something on it? Isn't that against the rules? Better yet; how do you make that work being that the file is packed into an archive that gets extracted when the benchmark runs? Don't get me wrong... Not accusing you of anything; just wondering what is being done with the file.

September 13, 201212 yr 1. thanks for the file:) But from where is this file? Is that the fmpad of pcm05? Readable, or from where is this file:)
September 13, 201212 yr It's the original unaltered file. I think I misunderstood you earlier post where you said: This is the file used in the TE tests. I guess that in my excitement I assumed that you were talking about "a file" that would implement the Text Edit tweaks, or that would have the settings that enable the high TE scores, but you were just posting the original file that the test is done on. My bad. 1. thanks for the file:) But from where is this file? Is that the fmpad of pcm05? Readable, or from where is this file:) The file is part of the PCM05 benchmark and, if I'm not mistaken, it is part of one of the .dat packages that are in the PCM05 folder... So it's not explicitly visible, but once the test starts, the first thing that it does is extract the file from the package and then run the search/replace routines that make up the actual test.
September 15, 201212 yr EDIT: Expect a new Web Rendering tweak <p><img border="0" src="test2_1.jpg" width="2048" height="1536"></p><p><img border="0" src="test2_2.jpg" width="1280" height="1024"></p> <p><img border="0" src="test2_3.jpg" width="1280" height="1024"></p> <p><img border="0" src="test2_4.jpg" width="1600" height="1200"></p> <p><img border="0" src="test2_5.jpg" width="1600" height="1200"></p> <p><img border="0" src="test2_6.jpg" width="1704" height="2272"></p> The file is part of the PCM05 benchmark and, if I'm not mistaken, it is part of one of the .dat packages that are in the PCM05 folder... Already replaced that file, but there is no boost (sometimes I even score lower lol, probably due scripting overhead). Edited September 16, 201212 yr by GENiEBEN
September 23, 201212 yr Also, huge Webpage Rendering can be done with IE, no Problem:) Have it checked without overclocking an Sempron 145 and get 32 pages... http://www.3dmark.com/pcm05/3171054
September 23, 201212 yr Awesome Moose!! Been looking all day at the guts of IE, can you also try something I found to see if it adds up? (you have PM) I think the ultimate will be using CEF, but I must first add "-embedding" into source code. Meanwhile, playing with other stuff...
September 24, 201212 yr Nope - RaidExpert - only for AMD. Look into the TeamCup Thread, there you have an official download and some thoughts about this "Tool".
September 24, 201212 yr I wanted to forbid it but massman has official allowed... Nearly each subtest can be supertweakt now. Only gluvos MA is a bit harder thought. Not found yet:)
September 24, 201212 yr So Internet Explorer 9 is able, to get over 140 pages with Phenom 2. Their is more power in this browser, i think muha:) http://www.3dmark.com/pcm05/3171197

September 24, 201212 yr Its easy to tweak these subs, but MA is harder to find... Im working on it now, but nearly 0% found yet...
