I'm actually occupying these http://hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?p=147694 they are allowed a combination of mouse speed change, bob80 tweak and modified windows theme bye Edited March 2, 2013 by xCero Quote
GENiEBEN Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 a combination of mouse speed change, bob80 tweak and modified windows theme Yeah, those are all good :celebration: How's that being policed? Not my job fortunately, but it kinda pops up when you see a score with and without. Quote
bartx Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) Simple text edit tweak (it was mentioned before, but as a solution to low scores, not as a tweak): Right click on fmpad.exe in pcmark folder: Turn off desktop and visual themes. Normal score (i5 3470 @ 3.96GHz): Tweaked score It gives 5% gain, not much but still a gain Edited April 1, 2013 by bartx Quote
zupernico Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Hi guys, I have a problem. I make a pcmark05 bench with my 4770k. I only configurated iexplorer like this post, but my xp startup is >220, it´s 223, why??, what can i do?, because then this submision is not valid Naturally i don´t use cheats !! http://hwbot.org/submission/2422197_ Quote
Moose83 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 U have to speed down under 220;) I must speed down 1600:D Quote
Mikecdm Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 You need to slow it down. Transferring a file or just about anything should be enough Quote
IanCutress Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 but, how can i do it?? Easy. Read the post that already answered your question. Apply common sense. You need to slow it down. Transferring a file or just about anything should be enough Quote
zupernico Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Easy. Read the post that already answered your question. Apply common sense. I think i have common sense , but i don´t understand it, sorry. Then i transferring a big file between ssd at the moment to bench pcmark05? i think then lower the overall performance of the bench, ram y cpu will be busy or not?? Quote
TerraRaptor Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Find a way to do file transfer to happen only during XP Startup subtest. For example try copying 1GB file or 2GB file or 2.227GB - make it to finish copy the same time when XP Strartup ends. Quote
zupernico Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Great idea Terraraptor and easy, i think i dont have common sense Thanks guys! Quote
dhenzjhen Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Hi guys, I have access to Fusion IO drive 320GB that I'm planning to use, but look like it's giving me a very very nice VS? No matter what I do format the drive reboot and keep formatting and use it again I keep getting 9K VS? Not sure what's going on there but here are the proof video and image of the card I used. http://www.solidstateworks.com/ioDrive.asp?gclid=COD2r5WxxrkCFUfZQgod-2EA2Q Gracias! Quote
dhenzjhen Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Reinstalled OS, driver etc. tried again and I keep getting 9K to almost 10k VS. I really need to know if I can use this IO drive ASAP before testing the V2's. thanks! Quote
IanCutress Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Is it some form of internal RAID doing the AMD bug? Quote

dhenzjhen Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 With 4770k OC'd to 4.6 I'm getting 10k+ VS Quote
Bobnova Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 You broke the benchmark! Good work! Maybe it can be retired now! Actually I'm very curious as to what's going on, a genuine 10GB/s virus scan seems unlikely, but I don't actually what what the virus scan test does internally. How fast does Avast scan that drive? Quote
GENiEBEN Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Depends on AV, if you just read first 8 bytes of each file and continue only for PE and archives than you can have an inflated MB/s. PCMark05 scans the benchmark files and some(two?) archives, which I assume are runtime generated. Quote
