TaPaKaH Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 @ SoF .. which CPU freq was that 32M done at? Quote
slamms Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 LOL, i hope on M5G will be better, with more memory frequency Quote
K404 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 V-Deluxe board. Someone told me only Asus ROG was tuned for past -100 Very nice result Have you tested enough chips to comment on how common those kind of MHz will be (I'm guessing that's ballpark 6.3GHz)? Quote
slamms Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 we are testing 10 chips, all can do over 6,3 ghz Quote
K404 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 So OBRs chip really IS that bad and we shouldn't form our opinion of Ivy based on his report? :D (I know a lot of people have a lot of info on these chips now, but I still don't know much) Quote
sin0822 Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 we are testing 10 chips, all can do over 6,3 ghz sounds good, however all same batch? Maybe batch numbers have some affect now? maybe Intel removed the Sandy Bridge artificial clock walls, maybe just good CPUs! But yea that makes sense 6.3 is pretty much what every CPU I have seen can do under LN2. even my crappy one just surpassed that this weekend. Nice job slamms His speed is over 6.3ghz for what he is showing. Quote
Smoke Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 LN2 wil solve many probs You mean no CB solve many probs))) Quote
xoqolatl Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Thats the stuff! And thumbs up for a retail CPU! Quote
AndreYang Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Andre, no need your comments Oh..NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Quote

Massman Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 They don't really clock "shit" on air. The more mature SB 32nm can clock slightly higher, maybe(!), but that design has been on the market since January last year. Quote
slamms Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Today update: http://pic.twitter.com/ZjWqbArK Very bad IMC for this chip Quote
