Massman Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 This should be fixed now, right? @edkiefer: thanks for the screen, forwarding it to Intel Quote
edkiefer Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 FWIW, still not showing new update version ready but this report is about I noticed now in profiles tab . I had many scores listed with each and now there no scores shown . The profiles are fine just BM scores gone . Quote
Massman Posted September 5, 2015 Author Posted September 5, 2015 Hmm, I've seen other people having issues with the profiles losing scores. I'll forward that report too. As for the update - it might be easier to manually install the 6.0.2 Quote

As for the update - it might be easier to manually install the 6.0.2 Hi Massman , Yes, I can install it easy but "if" they updated I wanted to give feedback it working . Since I am in no rush (everything works here) , I'll wait a bit and then install 6.0 Quote
minicoopers Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I tried to bench an i7 4820k with the newest version (6.0.2.2) but always when I start the benchmark the run fails after <=1sec. The Error Log in XTU: "The benchmarking process has failed and no score was generated as a result. When I use an older Version (5.2.0.14) everything works fine. With the newest version I'm not able to run the setup at default settings. Quote
Massman Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 Can you change the language settings to use the US settings? (so the decimal symbol is '.' instead of ',') I really hope this bug isn't back again ... Quote
minicoopers Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) I have installed win7 with US settings. So everything is set to the US settings (time, language, keyboard) But the error is still there. Edit: Same problem with an i7 3930k Edited September 14, 2015 by minicoopers Quote
OC Maximus Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) Running 2600k on Maximus IV Gene-z bios 3603. XTU opens up but cannot run benchmark. XTU: 6.0.0.2 Error: "The benchmarking process has failed and no score was generated as a result." Windows 7 SP1 installed and machine is connected to the internet. Beating my head against my monitor trying to figure this out. Was able to run xtu and submit benchmark on previous bios. Since bios update I have not been able to get xtu to work. HPET is on. Any ideas? Edited September 29, 2015 by OC Maximus Quote
OC Maximus Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Which XTU version did you try? XTU: 6.0.0.2 is what I'm running now. Last time I was able to submit I was using an older version. Not sure which one. Quote
minicoopers Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Try version 5.2.x I had the same problem with Sandy E. With version 5.2.x everything wirks fine Quote
OC Maximus Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) Is there place that I can safely download v 5.2.x? Edited September 29, 2015 by OC Maximus Quote

Gunslinger Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I've been trying to get KPC #2 into the pro cup for what seems like forever, is that a bug? Quote

minicoopers Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Nice that it works now. So the newest version exclude the old platforms Quote
Massman Posted September 30, 2015 Author Posted September 30, 2015 Hm ... so which platforms worked before and are now failing? X79 only? Or Z97 too? Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Had this issue with Z97 a lot Quote
minicoopers Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Hm ... so which platforms worked before and are now failing? X79 only? Or Z97 too? With the newest version X79 and Sandy don't work Quote
George_o/c Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Latest version (6.0.2) doesnt work on SandyBridge as others mentioned. I get the error "benchmarking process has failed blah blah". Tried both G470 and 2500K, no luck. Windows 7 x64. I'm now downloading v5.2 that minicooper posted, hope it works Quote
Massman Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Okay, thanks for the feedback. We had this benchmark fail run a looong time ago too. If I remember correctly, it was related to some Windows certificates not being up to date. I'll try to get my hands on SB / SB-E rig to file a formal bug report. Quote
Massman Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 For those having issues running the benchmark, can you try to do this: uninstall XTU completely install MDF 1.11 update for Win7: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3842 install XTU version 6.2.0.8: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU- Quote

Massman Posted November 10, 2015 Author Posted November 10, 2015 Just a heads-up, we're pin-pointing the problem with Ivy Bridge-E and Sandy Bridge compatibility for XTU 6.0.2. Quote
