der8auer Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) Hi My first memory container, 8ECC Cryoclamp is finally ready and up for sale. The main focus of this product is the great compatibility. You can mount this pot on single-sided, double-sided and even modules with heatspreaders - single and dual channel. Here are the first shots of the new pot. Pictures of the mounting process and mounted on modules with IHS are still missing. There are several ways how you can mount the modules and I will upload the pics at the weekend. The pot itself comes as black, blue or red edition. All heatspreaders are black anodized. der8auer Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 Thanks guys! Here's a mounting example with two G.SKILL Ripjaws modules. Step 1: Cut thermal pad Step 2: remove plastic cover of the pads and place them on the modules Step 3: Place two screws in the module and place memory stick on the thermal pad. The thermal pad are a little bid adhesive which makes the mounting easier Step 4: Place the spacer on top of the screws (you will find a lot of different sizes in the delivery compatible for all sizes of memory modules) Step 5: Add the 2nd part of the module and fix everything. Add the 3rd screw for a higher mounting pressure Step 6: Mount the pot on top Quote
