K404 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Never assume, never expect. Be grateful for what we have
[GF]Duke Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 moa 2008moa 2009 moa 2010 moa 2011 moa 2012 moa 2013 are you still going to ask that question Yea I'm going to ask. Is MSI going to do this forever? I'd like to see live qualifying.
Crew Vivi Posted March 3, 2014 Crew Posted March 3, 2014 Duke;297986']Yea I'm going to ask. Is MSI going to do this forever? I'd like to see live qualifying. live qualifying too much money . Online is fine

der8auer Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I know someone who'd love to be Master-Judge again. Nomsayin?
ryba AICooling Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I know someone who'd love to be Master-Judge again. Nomsayin? I'm ok with it one guy less in qf
[GF]Duke Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 MOA is seriously a battle of the wallets. Honestly. The person with the most cash who can suck up the best hardware will win the trip to Taipei. That has to be dealt with. Random hardware draws are the best way to have competitions. That's how I feel about it.
Massman Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 I think everybody feels the same way, Duke. It's just that live qualifiers are quite an expensive affair.
[GF]Duke Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Heres a thought. Everyone show up with their hardware. Throw it in boxes. Identical boxes. one box for cpu's one box for gpus. Everyone has their own other stuff. Mix up al the boxes, number the boxes and then give numbers out. What ever number you get, you get that box. ROFL!!! It actually sounds like fun. But I know it won't happen.
Crew Leeghoofd Posted March 3, 2014 Crew Posted March 3, 2014 I know someone who'd love to be Master-Judge again. Nomsayin? Can I carry your laptop this time :nana:
Massman Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 Duke;298013']Heres a thought. Everyone show up with their hardware. Throw it in boxes. Identical boxes. one box for cpu's one box for gpus. You and me can do just fine with a room and LN2 to do the qualifying in, but of course a company that size must make a big marketing event of it. A company of the likes of MSI can't just go for an anonymous backdoor venue for the qualifying phase of their most prestigious live overclocking event.
Splave Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Duke;298022']Got ya. I guess it would be beneath them. I just hope they portion number of slots by population and not random numbers Hey! I got an idea how about by sales
Crew Vivi Posted March 5, 2014 Crew Posted March 5, 2014 news! i found their max participant per country/area map
Gunslinger Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I wonder what that map would look like if the countrie's participant number was dependent upon product sales numbers.
Crew Trouffman Posted March 5, 2014 Crew Posted March 5, 2014 By sales : we would then have 8 slot in indonesia, 8 in brasil, 4 in chile, 12 in germany, 1 in france, 4 for india
gnidaol Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 LOL Hope we can see a battle with some X99 at the finals =) Looking for the qualifiers =) I hope it comes up with some fair rules =)
