soo i was just wondering whether this set up is good or i should take another lga1150 cpu

I'm looking at picking up a cheap GTX 460 for grabbing some top spots as there are quite a few listed on ebay. However, looking at the hardware list there's many various different versions of the 460. Including: 192 bit, 256 bit, SE, V2, X2, and M. I understand the 192-256bit difference and that M is mobile (laptop). The others I don't understand how to find out which of these versions are which on Ebay I'm seeing. Do I have to see what GPU-Z lists it as once I get the card or should I be able to tell via the part number?

How would I get a 3200G to run RAM above 3200MHZ ? Ive seen some do it with 450 MBs I have a 570 MB and some fare FlareX RAM

I've been Googling and I can't see anything that has this layout. There are extra mounting holes in the middle of each RAM section. The layout of the memory areas makes me think RTX2080Ti... one of the thermal pads for the memory is untouched, which backs up that idea. The PWM pad at the front has an untouched area, so partial population there. Any ideas? Thanks

Had a play earlier with R23 and BenchMate and there was no way I could upload results to HWBOT. Benchmate gave me no option to upload ( option greyed out ) and when I saved the result , I could not upload the JPEG or the other file it saved . Any ideas ? My hardware isn't very powerful anymore, my cooling pad keeps the CPU idle around 40-45*C and GPU around 50. At 900p, most games are still not doing bad for me, I was thinking to make some tweaks on CPU & GPU. i7 4710MQ 2.5 gHZ (3.5 turbo) Haswell GTX 970M 3GB VRAM Maxwell 16 GB 1600 DDR3 mHZ Zalman NS-2000 cooling pad Monster Tulpar T7 motherboard 180W adapter There are some real good HWBOT scores, but I am not sure if I have the same cooler as theirs. Since it is always written as air (stock), there are vacuum cooling ones too. If any of you can help, I would be very good.

Hey guys. I recently got a water blocked reference HD 6970 and the issue im having is that the core wont go over 500mhz, even if i set it in afterburner or ccc but the memory does what ever i tell it to do and runs at normal stock frequency of 1375. the only physical issue the card has that i can find is that the vrm temp sensor is munted so it reports a constant 254c to gpuz and 115c (i think) to hwinfo so that tells me the sensor isnt working at all. the card goes between 2d clocks / baseclock and 500mhz fine but wont go over. i have reflashed the card, tried different mobo, used ddu and reinstalled drivers but nothing. is it just a lost cause or do you think i can f…

Hey guys, don't know if anyone can help me here but i recently got my hands on a z77 mpower for next to nothing as the seller listed it was unreliable. The only issue i can find as of yet with it is that when the psu mains switch is turned on the board powers up instantly but it doesnt actually boot up till you hit the power button (video below). i Decided to probe between the PS-ON pin and GND of the main 24 pin on the board and i have found there is a 800 ohm short between the 2, i have probed a few other z77 boards and found they are well over 4 meg ohm. does anyone know the circuitry that is responsible for latching the system on once the button is pressed? im hoping …

Hey all, I picked up one of these kits as I have heard the 3600cl15 kot is good for a lower budget mem OC bin. Managed to get these up to 4600cl17 for daily stability but am wondering if anyone has experience with these kits at higher speeds. Will update this post when I get the chance to test them at 4800cl18. If anyone has experience with or any insight into how this kit does I would appreciate it!

Hi all, I have a setup of a gigabyte mobo z series a 2500k processor 16gig of ram and a few hdds. I bought a new asus gtx 1070 video card from a Nvidia 660 gtx, my issue is that it's not functioning correctly. Ie: playing ark survival evolved into used to get around 30 fps with my new on I get around 5. I installed the drivers but the experience from nvidia will not install.Nothing installs except the drivers. I have win 10 home. Any ideas on how to get it work correctly? Thank you

Well, long story short: after some time in storage, i wanted to install and boot the system. Just GPU, 2 CPU's, memory,... All installed by the manual. No HDD installed. System won't post, black screen, no beeping sounds, no error led's active... Should i install a HDD, keyb and mouse? I tought this isn't necessary to get a post/boot sequence.

Image is a screenshot from the MSI livestream for new B550 boards. There are no pins of the DIMM slots visible on the back of the board. Does anyone have an expert opinion on this (extra costs, benefits) ? As far as have seen, it is the only AM4 board with this feature. The Crosshair Impact and X570I Aorus do not have it.

Hi,Lately I have been experiencing an endless spinning wheel when I start Windows before I can see the desktop. For almost a year everything had been working pretty good considering I was able to coffee lake mod my Z270 Apex IX board to work with a 9700K cpu. Was able to play games and work with the machine without issues but one day a few months ago Windows failed to boot up. The wheel would spin endlessly after bios passed control to the boot loader. I might have experimented with memory overclocking at best but left the cpu running at stock voltages set at 1.30 volts. The actual bios I used was made by a modder known as Dsanke. Help me. I've got a VII impact, I dropped a screw and nothing left. I looked at the card. No blown capacitors, nothing. When I let my finger press reset, it lights up. I changed the chip, but nothing. Do you have any ideas?
