Once I get into XP I can set things up with TurboV so that solves my problem but I'm curious if I'm the only one who experienced this?

I did this mod, used 0084 bios in Alex's original post, everything is working except no matter what I set the cpu multiplier to it will only go to 4.3Ghz. Everything else goes higher - 53 on the uncore for example... If I set 55x, 54x, 53x or 52x or anything else above 43 it will on say 4.3Ghz. Any ideas?

by the way, send me one those human slinky dry ice pots you've got in the screenshots ;-) Just kidding, but I do think it is time for me to move onto dry ice for sure. Send me any recommendations for where I should buy my gear since I'm a noob...

I've tried everything including coming close to having lit my card on fire... This is such an epic score, boss. One thing I noticed in trying to catch you/beat you is that my score was affected by how straight my card sat in the socket. When it drooped or had any bend in it my time would be increased by a few hundred milliseconds. I could replicate the results every time. When I put in a bracket to support the card to keep it straight I'd always score with a lower time. The problem is, never lower than I already did ;-) Interesting about the physical aspects, though...

Actually, that is one question I've had since joining the bot. Why are some benchmarks allocated points and others aren't? What is the criteria? Is it because of the algorithm? Too many points from too many sources equals overload?

What I love about HWBot: I mean, I joined a team that only had one guy in it and he is a human slinky. Name one place - I'll say it again - name one place where I could've done that other than the bot? Ok, more than one. I thought I knew a lot about tweaking systems and making them run fast. Turns out, I didn't know nothing until I caught the bot bug and found myself having to figure out how the guy ahead of me pulled it off. That hasn't changed. What I would change: I'd love to have just one ranking instead of where I place in the world, where I place in the USA and where I place in my league.

I'll just delete it. I'd ask a mod to move it but chances are they are too busy and I don't want this to be an eyesore forever.

If you check our individual user pages it shows that we all "joined the overclockers league" when we had already obviously joined a division. The system doesn't credit us our points because it thinks we are new and some database linking is borked. That's my theory.

That's the thing, George... If even you who obviously has a firm understanding of how this whole thing works and who is a veteran of hwbot - if even you make a statement like "guessing it shouldn't have had them in the first place... but... uh... hmmm... not really sure" then what hope is there for a noob like me to try and understand what the hell is happening with their score? We really shouldn't call this hwbot.org anymore. It should be called sum_(i=1)^n i^3=((n(n+1))/2)^2.org.

I post nice images, try and be polite, mind my Ps and Qs, send private messages, try and piggyback off other people's threads, ask Splave to pretend he has the same problem as me to see if he can get an answer from someone (just kidding - although - I mean - I would do that at this point)... Don't worry it gets worse. Eventually they all disappear. Unless I missed it somewhere no one from the bot has confirmed this is a problem but it is happening to you and it has run its course with me.

Well, that worked! I can see now that the issue is that when I click on the button that is NOT added to the URL. So that's going to be a problem for sure. NIce, thanks!
