    Like, Mat - I understood the issue to be two different things but wouldn't care if I couldn't save the file if I can submit it online. Obviously the issue with saving the file is more complex since not many people are having a problem and I fall into the category that does. Anyways, like I said - I'll keep trying to figure out the issue and cross my fingers that the submission via web might get fixed. I'm sure once the web server logs are referenced it'll be fairly obvious what the issue is.

    Just read Mat's response - so that is fairly good news since it seems like an easy fix on the server side, right? Has an issue been created on github? If not I'll create one now.

    Leeghoofd, Not sure if I'm just totally missing a piece of the puzzle here but when you say "save the result file" - I mean - that's the original problem. It crashes instead of saves it. Then I tried submitting through the web and had the same problem. I took the screenshot simply because that's all I can do. Please advise?

    No turning back now! Now I just need to get either a bigger dewar (current one is 10L) or another one because just when I think I'm starting to get things figured out I run out of gas! Those things aren't cheap but feel free to point in the right direction - like - is there a website that sells pre-owned/second hand/used or is Ebay my best bet?

    So I tried to submit via the web and although it doesn't crash it doesn't actually do anything. No browser opens up, no dialogue box that says "successful submission" or "failed submission" or anything like that. I'm trying really hard to submit the following (see attachment) and am curious about what happens if I can't solve this problem? Will a screenshot be allowed or is a .dat file absolutely necessary?

    Not sure what you mean - are you saying I should try and submit directly to hwbot vs try and save the data file? Sorry if I'm being dense ... ?

    Three things I've realized so far is: 1) the size of the pot should be considered seriously because the smaller it is the less time you have between pouring the LN2 and when you are a noob like me you are doing everything slower because of lack of practice/experience (which by the way, I suddenly have a new respect for those who do CPU and GPU at the same time and a super crazy amount of respect for those doing stuff like quad-sli!) and 2) there is such a thing as too cold when you're a noob and all sorts of things need to be tweaked the colder you go. and 3) As you've said - it's fun as hell! ?

    I'm having this problem, too. Benchmark runs fine at 4k and everything is good but when I go to save the data file it just force quits. Help?

    Absolutely nuts - I'm just staring at the score after working on my own runs all day and my head looks like a jack-o-lantern. Big props. Is there any issues with that screenshot, though because I thought you had to have the taskbar and Windows clock showing but maybe that is just for the Challenger Divisions at the moment? Nevertheless, cuckoo for cocoa puffs score!

    Ordered my XI Apex to USA from England. Ebay. Had no other options unless I wanted to buy from Japan and offer one of my fingers to the Yakuza. Does anyone know if I can take the waterblocks from XI Formula (the ones that just cover the VRMs) and transplant them onto the Apex?

    Can someone please tell me what the secret formula is for submitting the HWBot x265 v2.2 4k benchmark? If I use the submit to hwbot button it instantly crashes. Doesn't matter if I select "ignore CPU detection" or not. Ok, let's try the save data file. Doesn't matter which of the three options I choose "core i7", "<my actual CPU here>" or "ignore" it instantly crashes. I tried "run in Windows 7 mode" - same failure. I already checked the forums in "hwbot software and apps" but there isn't anything that explains how to fix the issue. I searched this thread also but didn't see anything - if I missed it I apologize. shit - I meant to post this in the actual Country Cup thread - my bad. A mod can move it if they'd like - I wouldn't complain ?

    I finally got my hands on a 2080 Ti - wanted either the Asus Strix or the Evga FTW3 - didn't care - but couldn't find one available until today when I saw a FTW3 being sold by Evga on Ebay of all places... why the hell wouldn't they sell it through their site? oh well, who cares - at least I'll have one soon. No waterblock for it yet - can't find one of those either... geez.

    Slinky left a message for me and said he was calling from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and I couldn't quite make out what he was saying because the connection was garbled but something about "this frackin' GPUPI... ... installation issues and... ... 2,090,880 Volta cores" and then message ended. Anyone know what he could be going on about?
