40x is available for 1-2 cores only, with 3x it is 39x and with 4c 38x to enable 1-2-3c under lighter loads, enable C3 c-state option (that one is enough, leave other c-states disabled) hence during the prime workload of xtu, the cpu will be 38x but in between it will go to 39-40x, perhaps making intermezzos a little faster ; on the overall score XTU it changes nothing imo...

Yes sure. One thing I am heavily suprised about, and I can/will substantiate my thoughts with screenshots if you want, is that benching with CAS7 always gives much much worse scores for me when using XTU !!! For instance, the 3470 benched at 107.8-108ish bclk, and 2200+ CAS7 = 7-10-6-24-1T trfc=86 and fairly tight other subs, will barely give 798-800pts, while the same frequency on CAS8 (8-10-8-24-1T or 8-10-8-26-1T) will make an easy 850+ pts on 2133 or 2200 ram multiplier. If I bench with Prokon (2185 Mhz @ 7-10-6-24-1T) or with Luumi's settings (2300 Mhz @ 7-10-6-28-1T http://hwbot.org/submission/3680063_luumi_xtu_core_i5_3470_853_marks), I will never exceed 800 pts, no matter if I use the 2000 Mhz (1:10) ram multiplier like Prokon does, or the 2133 Mhz 1:8 multi like Luumi does... The same happens on Haswell. I tried Win7 64 or Win7 32 (btw no difference between both... and no difference between 8.1 32 or 10 32 and 7 64... superfetch + maxmem applied) Any thoughts why they can, and why I can't? Ps: My ram can handle 2300+ cas7 (g.skill pi 2200cas7) and 2600+ cas8

hopefully it was temporary bans... i d agree with you if this would be consistently done. in his case, he has lots (really a lot!) of xeon x1 and x2 subs, he may have missed those 2 out of his multiple dozens... a bit like when submitting amd unlocked cpu scores, sometimes, the system bugs and does not let you adjust the number of cores although you edit. it can get frustrating and hard to find the faulty sub later on, or manage to get it right. not sure if that applies to multi cpu benchmarks in term of "submission difficulty" if the results "steals" lots of points, and the owner doe not do anything, yeah, that sounds like cheating. but for those little guys lost in the darkness of 771 benching, I do not think that strongly. but yeay, you are the rule enforcer Cheers

Hello I was about to ask if using older gpupi version like 2.2 may help benching old ati card like hd4850 (which 2.3.4 does not recognize...) but 2.2 is not allowed for some time already ... may this new 3.0.x version do the job for hd4850 and alike as well as for c2d cpus ...? will test it soon. is 3.0.1 presently valid/accepted for submitting results ? Hi all, I benched my 7950 for 3d11 stage 5 and took the latest driver available from AMD website. I saw two with same package size but newer version on the first 17.11.4 (11/29/2017) marked as optional, instead of the second 17.11.1 (11/13/2017). http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2064# I made sure I used latest 3d11 bench, and latest 5.3 system info. But I have later realized that first driver 17.11.4 is non whql, and second is. Since I used the latest, 3d11 verification link now complains graphic driver is not supported ; too recent to be added ? Should I get worried ? I checked the 3d11 rules https://hwbot.org/news/8624_application_29_rules/ and http://oc-esports.io/#!/round/country_cup_2017/3991/3s-30p_%7C_3dmark11_performance and saw no mention about driver revision requirements hence didn't get concerned about using the latest driver available on AMD website...
