I think that is true. I tried 3 last night and 1x4133 1x4000 and 1x no 4k. It def needed 1.4 io and 1.35 sa. I saved a profile will upload later. Also you can try failure guard at 6-8 sometimes it likes to train on the 3rd or 4th try.

also vdimm is real on x299 ocf so mocf is +0.06-+0.08 from bios set also enable xmp is needed for over 3800+ on some sticks helps with training
