You mentioned that you see scores with missing url as well as cpu-z whereas all the scores have GPUz as well as CPUz screen as mentioned in the rules. And the scores are well in line to what is expected. If you doubt any score, again report and the mods with their experience will be able to judge whether anything fishy is going or not and will take appropriate action.

I doubt that its true. If you do see any submission which is missing cpu-z or gpu-z (for 3d), do report them and the moderators would surely take care.....

hmmm.....did not try the mobo with air cooling more than a few hours, and as you said it was very easy to clock but with a 5.8Ghz chip, even booting at 5.7Ghz was a hit or miss. Sometimes it was booting and sometimes it wont boot and was stuck at I believe A2. Hard reboot *sometimes* resolved the issue and sometimes it did not.....Will be starting to test 'next gen' this weekend with the new bios on the same board, hopefully would not have such issues.....

Not too happy with the Bios on GD65. Stops booting at certain clocks but a hard reboot (I believe Giga P67 had similar issue which needed soft reboot) only sometimes allows the same clock to stick around. Hopefully this Bios would be better

Afford does not mean you have to buy. Afford simply means you need to be able to bench them, whether be it by getting sponsored, borrowing or buying is upto the individual......

Hey Gunny, You of all people should not complain, this is not the first time that MSI or Gigabyte have these rules. The competition is to find the best overclocker in the world, you cannot be the best if you cannot afford the top hardware. Ofcourse with SB its now even more difficult to beat some1 who has a CPU like yours but it has always been like this. By the way, may I recommend to you, selling the 5.96 SB chip??? You will mostly be able to afford all the other stuff in your list,

Till the time Nvidia drivers give option to set Tesselation ON/OFF, I doubt GTX680 can really take off among overclockers. It needs insane clocks like Vince's results to break 7970 records.

Yeah, have never heard of non-reference design able to push 100% jump in clocks. 200/300/400Mhz at max I say......

Thats just for Slogan Winner alongwith a decent Z68 mobo, I do not think there is anything wrong with the prize, but yeah I believe MSI would have Slogans for the upcoming few years,

Traditionally it has been always like this, just that with Sandybridge even air binning was possible and even air/water people were for the most part able to compete with DI/LN2 users. But it seems IB will again be a exclusive playground for LN2 users

Is it possible to differentiate scores of 3D11, UH, 3DMV without verification link if someone tampers with the CPU/GPU clocks????
