I think you are supposed to bench those through benchmate, at least that’s what i did last week.

You should gather all of this info in a mini guide. a lot of information was lost by those who benched in the past and didn’t pass on their secrets. This is one of the reasons people don’t touch older platforms, is impossible to get all that knowledge by yourself.

Bartx has, or he used to have both the 54 mm design and the new 65mm monster for Hedt cpu’s. mythical, you cannot put cascade in the same league as ss and dice, untill now there were many generations of cpus that bottomed out at -100/-120 degrees so on those cpu’s ln2 is equal with cascade.

From what @nachtfalke said to me, it can be done but it costs a lot. If it would really be in apprentice, someone would do it just to compete with ln2 cores. Just a idea, my ss could bench at -70 idle and -68 load and i had no positive temperatures on light test and -64 on heavy benching with same negative temps.

It can be even -180 on cascade ,lol :)).
