  1. I would NOT disagree but as I mentioned earlier a very close example is LOD on 01 as it changes the graphics (quality) of the frames which will be rendered and can give more than 20% fps increase without touching the clocks.
  2. Actually I think that the truth is somewhere between the two sides. On the one hand, yeah the score boost is actually obvious but on the other hand this happens every single time (!) when we run the card at 2150~ + with temp & voltage used @2.09 GHz. In other words, it doesnt happen every 1 run out of 5. Also the scaling from 2150 to 2210 MHz would be considered as normal (between two "bugged" runs). Furthermore, commenting on what you said about rendering pixels I think whats happening is as legit as LOD can be. With LOD you change actually the "difficulty" (quality) of the gonna-be-rendered frames which is almost the same (we dont know for sure what happens at these clocks - at least I dont) with what happens here. Now, for the guys who will say that LOD doesnt make such impact; please re-consider by thinking about 8xxx/9xxx NV series on 3D01 Nature (if I remember correctly) when you would earn at least 200 FPS (from 450-500 default to 700-750 FPS on the same clocks) by applying LOD. Last but not least, from my side its also up to FM, as its getting paid for each license. In other words, in that cost, "security" against bugs & cheats is included and as far as I can see my score is invalid based on benchmark owner's rules. On this part, I dont know you and you dont know me. Which means that you can also work for NASA, CSI, FBI or w/e you want. But IF you are a mod (or mod assistant, etc.) I think it would be better to go through PM, email or facebook (as Christian did) and dont post stuff like "you will removed if your dont do what I say" & "So it is a bugged result no matter". IMO you handled the communication part terribly as you insulted someone (even if that someone doesnt really care about your online insults and how much you fail to deal with controversial submissions) online which could hurt his own rep. Cheers
  3. When I am talking about chase I am talking about chasing in order to get a "bugged" run, which I didnt do. BUT if you are talking about the general rule, then yes, overclocking is "chasing" the performance inrceasement (oh well we are @ hwbot.org). And no, I have no time to re-bench at that point and the results I posted are at least 2-3 days old.
  4. nah, it was the first score of the gt 730 I uploaded (before I post smth on gb comp 3d stages) to check if the 2nd patch of 3DM would be accepted (running 1.1 or 1.2v) as valid, then I deleted it and couldnt re-upload (ty FM). Can send you the validation file if you want, so you can check with FM. Here is what I get when I try to re-upload: http://prntscr.com/79jl76
  5. the thing for me is that hwbot doesnt take into consideration CPU-Z which means that graph and monitoring of XTU is the only way to check the frequency. So IMO, rules should be strict regarding these two (graph & monitoring) for the above reason.
  6. What Demac said/wrote. XTU keeps reading cpu frequency in Real-Time which is (after bench) 4.5 GHz but based on the graph it should be lower (???) EDIT: Seems like he paused the monitoring.
  7. its out of stock @eu.evga.com as well
  8. haha, I would if I had my degree to back me up (easier to find another job if something doesnt go well, etc.); so I will have to wait a couple of years for now.
  9. I still believe that CPUz is the real way to measure the freq. If I set 125 bclock I get 125.2 real (even tho xtu reads the bios aka 125.03 -> "4.00" GHz) and thats based on both cpuz and bios.
  10. so if XTU reports 4.00 GHz and CPUz 40xx MHz thats allowed? okie dokie
  11. Thanks mate. Re cache, our stopped scaling pretty fast, can run everything @4.9GHz but 5 GHz is no go.
  12. 4509 Cache / 36 Multi = 125.25 MHz. Try lower than 125 MHz on bios to get real 125 MHz on cpuz. That because, it seems that 99.9% of the time REAL bclock on GB mobos (X99) is > than XTU bclock read (bios setting read).
  13. More info about the 580 pls, clocks on gpu/mem?
  14. I dont want to offend you in anyway but why not buying a chip from oc.co.uk for almost half the money that does at least 6.4 G 01/05? EDIT: Just saw that there is no stock @oc.co.uk
  15. 4Core, maybe after 2 years its easier to get it lol
  16. GT score is ok but CPU score on the other hand is sooooooo low that made itself invinsible
