only ever had the 555be and the 980 be in here as its my daily, rule of thumb ive learn is you dont overclock your daily, , actually not sure if an fx 4130 is supported with this board , only ever had it on the 990 chipset, it does about 5.2 on chilled water, that was on the crosshair v -z but actually did better on a gig 990 fxa - ud3 i bought cheap but never subbed it , think it was round $ 60 delivered on flea bay for nothing and the bloke had bad mem in it, its a cracker of a board for a cheapy and does better than the crosshair in mhz, but has no where the bios settings that the v-z has as youd know, so i gave the crosshair to pete to try crack the 8 gig mark with his fx-8350, nearly got there . think it was 7980 ish but he hit the wrong volt setting in 1 area , you can talk to him later bout that if you wish, and it killed the cpu, then as it goes trying again with something the board died later , i got the ud3 to 5365 mhz on my little setup on geekbench 3 which i thought was a fair effort, 8370 at 5570 again i thought was very fair, this was before it went into mine as a daily anyway mate nice to talk again , thx cheers ozz

nice bully, 890 chipset boards are good boards, mines an asrock 890 fxb deluxe 3 early yes but still perform nicely, and think theyre well over looked now for what they can produce , cheers mate ..nice

you have no idea about EVGA warranty george, . EVGA has superb warranty with anything they make, ive had 3 psus returned over the years, and replaced (with new) and costs for postage paid every time

as i said, i didnt ask for him to reply, i dont know what his problem is, guess its just sarcasm that runs thru his veins for everyone he doesnt like i dont think bot needs to ask the community about leagues or how to do the separation of them, its been hashed over for years now to no end result , especially with the cooling catergory aspects , so you tell me please mr yosarianiliives ill give you an eg me, here we have an ambient in winter of say from 12 to 18c, and i use chilled water so i can get to about 1-2c on straight ice , as soon as i do a reasonable to hard bench , my temps go to around 20 to 40c depending on what platform, 775 with a pentium 4 can do 50c + under load and an msi card coz they run warm from the get go summer is another story with an ambient of 30c minimum up to mid 40c ambient, so how do you think that goes ??? ill tell ya, you dont bench coz all you get is condensation with ice water even with proper foam socket insulation , and worse for the boys here that do dice or ln2 you get a person that lives in a cold country where the ambient is say 0c to -10c for their ambient and hes using air or water, maybe doing it outside too, or have their water cooling radiator out the window in the 0 to -10c ambient, i have no hope in hell of bettering his scores on the same bench unless i happen to have a golden board, cpu, ram , vga, right?.... and we all know how hard all of those are to get , let alone having all 4 of them in 1 cheers ozz

it takes a very long time to measure then cut out the areas needed, then check and recheck if its just right and with the right heights as well, then test make sure no condensation , a wrong height and it all can go poof in a flash nicely done gunslinger ... nice job, nice hardware too ??

whats the big deal from ES samples anyway ? from my experience with them is you might be able to get a good one, same as a boxed or whatever , not sure what the fuss is all about, boards may well be different. i wouldnt even be bothering with it, more hassle and headaches thats not needed

george i dunno what the classic page means, but i do suggest this, if all the rules were put on the main page of the comp thats being run then no one has any reason not to know what the comp rules are . if theres any changes in rules for what ever reason the management of the comp decides for it at the time to benefit the comp then so be it....that gets put on the main page in the RULES of whatever change has been decided on for what ever reason. so i dont see why the rules cant be put on the main page for what ever comp, the "rules" as such here in bot have been a long term thorn in both sides as you know, changed as wanted, changed as requested why not just make a comp, with the rules , final, then let everyone deal with it as best they can, never know do you , might even spice things up a bit in here for people to try harder for the comp they want to go in main page ...rules , theres no arguments of the rules...simple , i dont see anything more simple and functional actually?

ive never had a problem with it, its always reads the cpu thats its been changed to, cpuz changes even when you change the core count like a 555BE for eg from2 cores to 4 , then it gets renamed the 565 BE

man its the SPD tab shown, not the memory tab which is required, SPD tab is to show what the memory can do at certain speeds, memory tab shows what the memory is actually at, pot calling the kettle black here at times but , make sure brain is engaged before putting mouth into gear yes?
