not that ive seen , its been used that way by people for yrs to use balanced mode if they choose to, simple way to work it out is multiply the fsb x the multi, you get the mhz, thats been used, i dont see the fuss at all, silly really !!!

Achillus, pin replacement is completely different to pin soldering, you can not resolder a pin in a 775 socket, that requires a socket replacement with a special machine and operator to do it, i know , ive seen it done, but you can resolder a tip or part of a pin to a socket "with a broken or bent pin that you break off the bent part of the pin, if youre good enough, that requires a very special ability and technique as im sure youre aware of, that requires a very steady hand, with high visibility and the exact right heat factor to do it successfully to have the replacement pin tip in the right place, i would have a guess attempts 9 out of 10 would fail to be successful, therefore i personally , would steer as far clear as i could of your board as possible , but thats only my opinion ?

tell me , Achill3uS how can 2 pins be replaced , im interested to know, i think others would be also like to know, how do you pull to pins from a socket and replace them without replacing the socket as a whole socket ?? ,

this has been a problem with competition rules from long ago, regardless of what comp, and ive been in a few over the years, scrolling thru wherever to try find what is what, fair enough in some cases things have to be changed in the rules, but it isnt updated to the main rules as it should be,so all know what the RULES are, it would lighten the load for everyone, even tho i dont bench anymore now, its still a main problem factor with whatever competition , and that purely comes back to management of the "x" whatever comp thats being run it is high time this was fixed once and for all for clarity for ALL cheers ozz

reset the cmos, allow it to boot back into the os , set what you want on and off in the bios, if it does then increase your cpu mhz by multiplier , in turn that will increase ram speeds, when it doesnt boot , then drop your ram speed to then next lower mhz of the ram , then go back to the ram speed, when you get as high as you can go on both cpu and memory you will may have to increase the voltages on both, try to do it with as low voltage as possible, it is a good simple way to test both cpu and memory to give you an idea of what they are capable of doing basically at stock settings, then you can start tweaking the both as you have a guideline on what they can and will do, save it in your bios profile settings so you can boot straight back into those settings then you can go from there

a tip, if youre gunna get them made have the tangs rounded off nicely like the middle ones are shown to be, quite often a rounded edge will fit where a square edge like show will hit something, it just gives that little bit more fitting room, looks nicer too ?
