  1. The efficiency is comparable to latest intel cores. x30 the frequency to get a 5ghz cyrix will make it calculate 1m in 7sec No way!
  2. My fifty cents - why then posting results stating cold on mems (gigio's 1.266S) and 4v (some results with CUmine) when these chips go that high with stock cooling (no sinks) and volts? Isn't that an idication of giving a wrong direction?
  3. You just don't know what was oldschool overclocking about - just ask yourself: 1. Why Japanese are so strong here even these days (check number of overclockers and the position of Japan in country rankings) 2. Why hipro5 sharing tons of info is still known to anybody in the community although he is out from hobby for years already? When you don't share key information with the community it makes the community static. Just ask yourself why we have a lot of interesting topics from XA, der8auer? Does it make their position within rankings worse - nope. I remember lots of input done to Kazakh overclockers from Russians, Ukrainians. I have a lot of kind words to Turrican, Wizerty, Maedhros etc. Competition should be a result of overclocking not "secrets". Sharing such tweaks as d3d, waza, catzilla tweak - isn't this what makes the whole community to reach new heights?
  4. GraduS told me he will share info with the community quite soon (days, not weeks).
  5. Add a switch to boot.ini /maxmem=200 mb - that will make superpi run slower as it won't be able to allocate 250mb of RAM.
  6. First 2 loops are a good point to estimate. Set maxmem low to make run longer:)
  7. Rugerro, post your mems first. I cannot share chips at the moment as they were discovered by GraduS and he has all rights to share this info to public. As Italians didn't share this info to him he had to put lots of money into research to find the chips himself - it is not us to sandbag first. Trodas, 3.5v only - voltage is not a key. Scaling depends on motherboard mostly - vnb, slot selection rules. Both sticks go almost the same clocks (+/- 2mhz) 1:1. I've killed the motherboard already so I have to check other motherboards.
  8. Not kingston this time but the chips are still the same gigio was using. Tatsunori-san, many thanks! GraduS, battle never ends?)
  9. I remember I had issues after 700mhz on gpu - performance dropped because of high clocks with no visual artefacts. Say, 690mhz was fine and 710mhz given me -70%.
  10. Actually another thing making good hobby not compatible with hwbot. You know what are the money involved into sports? Let the top-10 hwbot users get the same salaries as MU players and you will get tons of videos of WRs. Why should I care about video if it is not being paid? Why should I put my jeans on during benching making myself less comfortable?) Gamers do have channels full of video but WCG has a prize pool of over $1M. And look, I don't remember a single OC event that is close to $50k prize pool. If you want us to make our hobby not that comfortable and easy (say, make it rather a business) get sponsors for us!
  11. too many complications. Also, a bench session of >5 hours is a very boring thing for spectators.
  12. I would also search for FatBodies - 800 4-3-2 is also a good option
  13. I wish i could bench my setup @ln2 - my new memory flies to 215 2227 but all my boards are completely dead now and i will get a new bunch of s370 boards within a month only.
  14. did you try bios patcher by rom.by?
  15. Great job! PS. Reading the news @overclockers.ru I was confused that this card was released back in 2007, it still seems to me the card was released not so long ago.
