    Why don't you both use XP? I think there are better chances to validate ram with 30-40MB of used memory rather than nundreds of MBs.

    Pll should be as low as possible for 45nm from my exp. Vtt will definitely help at higher fsb. And GTL refs are crucial for quads.

    No, my mushkin has non-remarked qimonda chips.

    I'm dead sure to use 125+ pcie 3D benchable with Abit IP35-E and random 7900GS. You just need a card that does not use pcie clock as a reference for mem/gpu (there were some GF9600 and others that were overclocking with pcie).

    lots of older pcie graphics should be capable of high pcie

    I would look into PCI SATA/IDE controller to avoid usage of sata. Performance should be terrible with USB drive

    Qimonda based. Chips produced in 07-08. Mine is 1m benchable @238 3-3-2-7, GraduS has benchable stick capable of 232 2-3-2-7
