  1. Thanks a lot, Bull - will give it a try
  2. I only tried the two official version 110 and 130, do you have a fast link for the betas? At Asrock can´t find them and google brought me an uncertain 1,12 version only - might be worth trying a beta especially with my 4670k fail
  3. Got the 4770K, inserted and used some random Ripjaws I bought by mistake, 2600 first try boot and 32m - obviously the problem is caused by compability of my i5 and the board, which works fine as the 4670K does on other board - weird, but at least the OCF is fine, and I guess I will have to use Sams with the old wrecked 4670K on it
  4. The mems do more than 2800c9 32M SuperPi, so 2800c9 should be easy for XTU - no idea if IMC can handle 4 sticks though, this depends on settings and CPU, but the memory can do it for sure
  5. Hola, all items offered are in flawless technical condition, pictures provided should show you about optical condition being OK as well 1. 4x4GB G.Skill RipjawZ 2400 C9-11-11-31 (Samsung) Purchased together with a second quad kit recently because I realized that the sale of my last Samsung a few weeks ago was big mistake. I was unusually lucky and got two highend performers, so one kit can go, all four sticks are tested for 2800 c9-12-12-18 twcl6 tight in dual channel below 2v (1,98 and 1,97v) on random 4770K on OC Formula Z97 and will go higher. In black box which contains two small boxes with fans 2. 6x2GB G.Skill Ripjaws 2000 C9-9-9-27 1,60v (PSC) Two triple kits with follow up serialnumbers, 9501040 X-PSC. Seems my eyes are not as good as they used to be, bought them thinking they are BBSE - they work flawless, tested specs 1,5v and 2000 c6 on Z77 which worked below 1,65v on all 6 sticks, Then tested 2600 c8-12-8 on ocf on couple of sticks in dual channel and this worked as well. I have better PSC though, these can go at acceptable price. 3. 2x2GB G.Skill Rijaws 2000 Cl9-9-9-27 1,65v (BBSE) Random purchase a while ago, nothing special, 2400 8-10-7-22 twcl6 around 1,8v on OICF, but one stick is quite good and also passed 2600 8-11-8-22. Main reason I bought #2 to bin more BBSE, but I failed. Prices 1. sold 2. 100 Euros+shipping, 3x2GB 55+shipping each if split sold completely at XS 3. 35 Euros+shipping Items are located at germany, preferred option is sale within EU, but I can also ship worldwide, this might be expensive though and please take in probable customs fees, apart from that I might not ship in countries that are unsafe to ship to. Payment with papyal or western union Disclaimer: No returns and no warranty provided because I am selling this as private, non commercail seller. On overclocking, ymmv, but I reached results on air cooling and with normal hardware
  6. Other than people I know I don´t give up fast - so I will test with the 4770K to come to see what causes the problems. I don´t have problems with the board generally, it is nearly as good as Asus Impact and easier to handle, I have problems with the board in combination with my 4670K - even my cheap test PSC do 2720+ cas8 32m limited by 3258´s IMC limit. If you don´t like that I write about my experience, that´s your problem, I have no problem with Asrock and used ocfm z87 for over a year being satisfied, it was a much better board than z87 Asus boards for example, but I see no reason to hide the fact that my first board was half doa and completely dead after 24 hours and I now have issues with the i5 - I could make it easy and blame it on Asrock, instead I bought the 4770k and test more to solve it. OCF and 4670K work fine with my last Samsungs btw
  7. Done already, changed cpus, hard reset, removed cmos battery, confirmed board runs 2720+ psc with 3258, just ran 2880 tight samsung with the 4670k - last chance I take will be the 4770K I get, will test this, if it doesn´t work I will test 4670k and 4770k again on asus - and if this still works I know the asrock I have is crap - no matter if it is compability or a bug on my special board, it makes things no fun at all
  8. So, small update - after verifying that the board can do 2666+ with psc with 3258 I reinserted the 4670K - and the wonder-board refuses to boot 2600 - I guess I should put the blame on the cpu, who cares that it did 2750+ with PSC 32m on Asus, it can´t be the asrock miracle board, hu? Maybe it is the mems, all my kits must have degraded within 5 seconds - if it works like planned I will get 4770K next week and see if issue will be the same...
  9. Too bad, but this can happen - at least it can give you hope that the OCZ work like they are supposed to do
  10. I´m spoiled by Asus and z87 Asrock that worked without issues - well, I concentrated now on some Samsung tests with the board and my crap 3258, and this worked quite well Also worked with 4670K before, will see if PSC and I5 can do the job now when I have higher frustrastion tolerance limit
  11. #1, 4x2GB Ripjaws 1600C7 GBRM, sold and paid Please close the thread and move it to sold, thanks for the space hwbot
  12. This problem is new to me as well, never had it on gigagyte, asus or z87 asrock I used over a year - as said I will test it again with 4670k now with 3258 it works again after procedure I mentioned before, was quite similar to what you did. Either the board does not like my 4670K or I am less lucky than you are^^
  13. OCZ usually did not use XMP, so jedec is fine. If the sticks are dual sided, all is possible, OCZ used tons of different ICs on all specs. I would advise to test these on different system, 2400 10-10-10 might be Elpida or even Micron D9KPT on amd, or bad psc, trcd limits are much higher on amd than on Intel. If all sticks work in channel A, they should e OK technically, so problem is either compability or channel B is defective on board or cpu. So, test on other board/system, maybe you get results that tell you more about ics
  14. It reset and refused to boot, then came up with oc failed several times blabla^^ - I updated Bios, MEI and removed battery, then changed cpu to 3258- will try 4670k later again to see if it works, but these are issues I don´t know from all other 1150 boards I had so far, the i5 ran 2750 psc on Impact and easy 2800+ on sams yesterday and today as well
  15. Funny, after doing first tests and yesterday testing samsungs my board now refuses to boot with 2gb sticks above 2400Mhz - seems some are more lucky with this board than others, retail asrock seems to be big lottery, second crap z97 after I had Z87 that worked easily more than 12 months^^ I completely rebuilt, flashed bios and removed cmos battery, now it works - I wonder for how long... - seen this before
  16. Returned the money because buyer changed his mind, because of this they are available again
  17. #1 sold, can be closed and moved - thx for the space, hwbot
