Gigabyte Z97SOC Force legacy IC tests
websmile replied to websmile's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
I have just my random Corsair left, but might try these in near time, on Z87 OCM they ran 1200 c8 around 1,73v iirc 32m stable, no idea if they can do same on GA - lots of Hypers fight with tight tertiaries and rtls on new systems and high frequency can have same effect, at the moment I tested some multi core benches on the board, it does quite good -
Good evening

Hola, I am cutting down hardware again, if you have questions on one of the items that is not answered in description, shoot me a pm 1. Intel Core 15-4690K boxed Very good sample, boxed retail. 1,29v 5ghz wprime and SuperPi 32m XP, 4,5ghz 1,09v cinebenches and XTU win7x64, VID 0,992v on Impact7 and Asrock Z87. Not delidded, polished or used on cold, acceptable IMC that ran 2750 8-12-8-28 with psc for example. In box with fan. 2. 3x2GB OCZ Blade DDR3-2000 CL9-9-9-30 The sticks work flawless, tested with memtest and superpi on specs, I hoped for Hypers to confirm my results on Gigabyte Z97 but these are other Elpida or PSC. In original packaging which might raise shipping price a bit. 3. Thermalright True Spirit 120M BW Never used, was bought for a build that did not become reality, unpacked, checked, with full accessory. 4. Gainward 9600GT 512M Works, checked for 1300 mem AM3 and at least 1265 nature 01, non modded, bulk 5. PNY Geforce 9800GTX+ 512MB Works, non modded, iirc card did around 850/1200 air 03, check my outdated hwbot profile to get more info 6. Asus ATI 2900XT 512MB With thermalright cooler, I checked the card and it does work in 2d, but when it moves to 3d, vrms get extremely hot at once and benches crash. Might be defect, Bios or not sufficient cooling of vrms, I simply didn´t bother to fight with big fan on the card Prices without shipping 1. 255 Euros/ 295 US-Dollars sold, shipped 2. 50 Euros/ 60 US-Dollars 3. 20 Euros/ 25 US-dollars 4. 20 Euros/ 25 US-Dollars sold, paid 5. 30 Euros/ 35 US-Dollars 6. 15 Euros/ 20 US-Dollars Items are located at germany, please ask for shipping rates especially with vgas, payment is possible with western union or paypal No returns and no warranty because I offer this being a private person selling used stuff. On oc, ymmv, but all results mentioned are on air cooling.

Sounds as if you use AMD-like cpu on socket 1150 - you still have two threads more than me -
No poll, this might end up in majority voting to ban someone and in reality he becomes hwbot CEO - better skip this^^

I lost a lot of screens, I ran these on Asrock 1300 8-12-8-28 twcl6 4-5-4 around 1,81v, 1200 profile needed 1,65v, on this I found an old screen with voltage

Buy, not sell - you need hardware for your comeback

Haswell 4670K/4770K Batch and Serial Numbers
websmile replied to Massman's topic in Haswell (Z87/Z97) OC
Depends on the cpu, OS and scaling - my 4690k can do 4,5ghz both cinebenches and xtu 1,09v win7x64 and needs 1,29v for spi32m 5ghz XP -
Too late - we are all owned by the hands of fate and the fact that Elpida and Powerchip are no longer in business . Will be fun at ddr4 with three manufacturers left who give a bunny for oc P.S. Please close and move, thanks for the space hwbot

TWTR 3 at timing configurator is shown is you set TWRRD at 15, you can´t set it lower than 4 in Bios

Haswell 4670K/4770K Batch and Serial Numbers
websmile replied to Massman's topic in Haswell (Z87/Z97) OC
Cache is OK, I will make further tests with ruling XT Loki cooler but my Impact is weird, I need more cache voltage for all cpus than on Asrock and Gigabyte, will be hard to get 5ghz stable for 32m Well, at least with low mem settings and mucho volts I could make it work - 1,325v set in bios, hwinfo shows 1,35 and Bios readout is 1,36 -

websmile replied to Massman's topic in Haswell (Z87/Z97) OC
4670K batchL310B515 Impact 7 bad air cooler slightly above boxed level, delidded by mad german prime-god win 7x64 4,8ghz core 1,25v 4,8ghz cache 1,26v Cinebnech 11,5 and 15 XP 32 5ghz wprime32m 1,24v, Spi32m w. 2800c9 samsung 1,25v IMC runs psc 2666 tight and boots 2750 8-12-8 at least -
Unfortunately this is an urban legend^^ - other than people I know of I am no memory black hole - I sell when I buy, often before I have replacement, and own exactly seven memory kits of four different ics atm, including my 24/7 mems for two rigs. I don´t get samples and have a strictly limited budget on memory to prevent hoarding what others need, so after tests my kits usually go and I only keep minimum required for tests and few benches I still do from time to time
-
Super Pi 32m, you want these for benching I think, for 24/7 stability DOS memtest and hci memtest and prime blend for example, there are lots of different options
