I've tried win 7 32/64/ Win 8 / Win 8.1

I always get this...I've tried clean installations and so on and so on!

I always get this or something like 654645GHZ

Not sure why they'd run a max fixed 5.5GHz frequency that most $1,000+ retail chips can't achieve...

Would have made more sense to just do 5GHz for stages 1 and 2 in my opinion, then go full out for stage 3.

Nonsense, I have tried every copy of W7 and they all read frequency correctly or +1 multi so it's something you are doing to your OS. Ask everyone at the HOT Finals if the mhz was reported as 0 or any other crazy high value other than +1 multi over what was actually set in bios.

Nonsense on your side!

The problem is also there at fresh os install and bios defaults!

Many of the aooc qualifiers had the same issue!

Ask Roman, stummerwinter, benchbros....and so on!!!

I have that issue on all boards except z97 soc as far as I remember...

Because

  • Participants can only use Z97 and X99 platforms.
  • Score will be divided by the number of CPU cores. For example, for a Pentium G3258 the benchmark score will be divided by 2

FYI, rules were made together by marketing, engineering and hwbot.

XTU is divided by the number of cores not threads correct? The G3258 doesn't make more sense then because it has no HT.

Could some body explain the prizes?

I see that say "Elite League" and "Extreme League" and each one have their prizes.

There are prizes specifically for the Elite and Extreme members. So if you're the best of all Extreme overclockers, you win the prize regardless of how many Elite are in front of you/

It says ASUS/ROG/TUF graphics card for the FSX sub, forgive me as this month will be my first atempt at Ln2 subzero and not a expert in GPU's.. does the Asus 980 strix fall into the ROG/TUF Asus GPU class?

That's what I thought, nice idea.

Enthusiast league can participate ?

You may, but the Formula competition will be more suited for Enthusiast I think.

Can we use sample motherboards and cards or must be bought

Retail (samples) can be used, yes.
