They're looking for an enthusiast to fill the position, so I figure why not let you guys know and see if anyone's interested. From the looks of it, they're mainly looking for someone to drive the ROG community + help explain technical stuff to the market. The focus seems to be gaming, but that links together with modding/overclocking/... I reckon. If you've been active in community or have written reviews/articles, it might be a good opportunity. Note that you'll have to move to Taiwan and that you will be working in the Taiwanese work environment and corporate culture. If interested, drop me a message in PM and I'll forward the contact information. :celebration: Some details: Position: Senior Technical marketing and Social Communication manager (PC Gaming, PC Products, not including Mobile Products) Job Scope: Lead ASUS ROG Global online community presence, working alongside global marketing team and regional teams. Lead ASUS Technical Marketing efforts, focusing on PC component and PC Gaming, working alongside global marketing team and regional teams. Market/ Customer Understanding: understanding gaming customer/markets and detailed social analysis to identify opportunities/trends Create creative marketing communication assets and campaigns to encourage community growth. Manage a team to oversee the daily tasks required to drive ASUS’ global online marketing campaigns and community efforts. (These include, but are not limited to, customer message monitoring and community engagement, post planning, campaign planning and running, statistics gathering and internal feedback). Oversee ASUS’ content marketing activities. Create strategic alliance opportunities Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of community engagement experience and 3 years of Editorial or content marketing experience in a tech-related field. Technical understanding of the latest computer hardware and troubleshooting, with a strong interest in PC hardware and PC gaming. Exhibit a passion for community involvement and social media, and its personal yet professional representation. Excellent written English skill.
