    6600K  delidded air cooling,5g 4.8 r11.5 1.263v on mocf

  • 18 pcs of ES: just 5 chips booted 5 ghz Win7:   Retails soon

  • My retail i5-6600K. About scalping: http://www.modlabs.net/blogs/i5-6600k

Just got 6600K L536B309 from caseking. Will try it in the evening on air.

EDIT: VID 1.04 :D 4500/4200 1.17V on air all stable, including XTU. I was unable to complete XTU with higher clocks. I booted 5000 with 1.3V, with 1.32V entered win 7 but kept getting freezes all the time, I need to check voltages, maybe I'm doing something terribly wrong.

I'm an idiot :) after setting PLL termination voltage to auto it is

:D

5000/4500@1.36 - everything except XTU stable (Cinebenches, Geekbench, HWBot Prime, GPUPI, wprime 1024)

Air cooled, mobo is Z170 OCF, 1.43V BIOS.

Too scared to delid.

:)

mobo/bios : M8G / 0004 08.26

vid in bios : 1.28vc

delid or not : no delid

no boot 5g at 1.45vc

ambiant T°18, cooled with a NH-d14+gelid : nb x40, stable with 1.37vc for xtu and cinebench R15 @4.8, pass with 1.35vc but not always.

coming soon with cold and delid :)

On Air, 1.35v (Sorry CPU-Z shows wrong voltages above 1.32v or so on skylake) 4.8GHz.

No matter what I do it will lock up at 4.9 once I load it well I'm on air after all.

Try lowering the cache!

Not the best overclocker I am but I will try. I'm using a UD5 TH by the way :D

Need some assistance here... I have a 6600K that is CB stable at 4900/4900 @ 1.41V. It will boot 5G at 1.40V. With load temps under 67°C, I cannot get CB R15 stable even with up to 1.49V.

Testing 32M stability now... Stable at 1.45V.

HWBot Prime 5G @ 1.460V.

Can I get some help? CPU has been delidded. MB is Z170X-SOC Force.

EDIT: 5.1G boot at 1.48V.

Try lowering cache, mine does 50/47 with 1.36 but doesn't want to go higher with cache. 5100 with 1.42

Think it just needs moar powa!

My 5ghz cb chips do cb 49 about 1.35-38v. 5.0 around 1.45v. I'd expect yours to be 1.5v+. And yeah, high cache can certainly raise the vcore req.

Got another 6600k OEM, now in Poland, again batch L536B309. Perhaps they come from the same source :)

New chip? Seems good, but what does it do on normal temps?
