5ghz SPi 32m Win7 X64 SP1 1,37v(BIOS 1,35v) on Asus Maximus VIII Hero, vid 1,152v - not bad for first try, air cooling (Megahalems vintage 2009 ) non delidded

bclk readout is weird, I have 4995-5005

 

I did some more tests, on two different boards, they work quite identical

5ghz 4,8cache win7 Spi32M 1,32v

5,1ghz Core 4,5ghz cache hwbotprime 1,41v

5GHz Geekbench 1,37v, might work with a bit less volts, I am not sure I know what I am doing on skylake

some guys dont know how lucky they are, my best chip of 15 is 5G 1.456v hwbotprime on air haha

also availability is very bad now, in hungary no 6700k at the distributors since 2 weeks and they still have no clue about delivery, ive heard in germany its similar...

6G XTU very easy 1.75v but maxed out at 6.2G hwbotprime 1.88v -140C on M8Gene

I got one of the same batch. Have tested 8 6700K so far. When I tested mine it seemed to scale very much with temperature and not so much with volts. My feeling is that it might be good. Bought two more after that one but they were bad

 

Haven't tested on LN2 yet but my best L526B899 does 5GHz HWBOT Prime at 1.38V. 4.9GHz at 1.31V. Boot windows 7 5GHz at 1.39V. Not delidded yet.

LOL, tried mine on LN2 today...and it was absolutely horrible!

 

Really bad cold bug, -110 with normal LN2 volts to help with CB. Had to raise to ridiculous ST-volts (MSI MB, don't know what they are called on others) to get rid of CB. Performed horrible as well. Max HWBOT Prime was 6GHz at 1.85V. Delidded, with kryonaut, of course.

i5 6600K - 1.136v VID - ES (dont remember the batch - will update post later to add it)

Needs 1.32v to boot @Win8 and run spi1m @5 Ghz, and same voltage for 4.9 Cinebench on air.

 

Under cascade (-88C load on cascade's evap.) it did 5.8 GHz cinebench @1.536v load. Not delided

1.45V only touched the vcore nothing else.

 

 

 

Will test for 5Ghz more later. Then onto LN2. Still have another chip from another batch to test yet.
